As far as I am aware the gauge on the dash is water temp and hits the middle after a few mins, however the increased rev limit won't show for a good 15-20 mins driving...
Believe the rev limit is normally around 6500/6800 cold and raises to 7250< depending on map
Depressing I know!
I have come to accept that the rattles mean that the majority of the car is still attached in places lol :( good luck water hunting!

Don't know if this thread will help mate, one I spotted earlier. Sorry I have no idea?!
Seconded, but I can't believe how cheap RB's are kicking about at now, despite it potentially being a bit of a dog and that shocking IK!
Nice purchase.
Loving this more and more.... Quite some competition for nicest "silver" 1*2 I might add!
Edit... Harness going in at any point? I know it's daily but does a fixed back bucket with seatbelt work very well lol? Side bolsters much of an issue?
Admiral wanted 62 for my springs and exhaust, but knocked 17 off for me just asking to remove the admin fee I knew they'd added. Outrageous that they charge that for what took 5 mins on the phone!
I think next year I'll be looking at brentacre etc... if the premiums are competitive.
oh, and I...
Just be prepared with the main stream companies to speak to someone who has no idea what the difference is between a manifold and a cat back or how 40mm springs might be different to 1k's worth of coilovers. Oh, and often they won't replace like for like!
Sealed fine for about a month. I now have a very minor "whistle" when it's cold, that disappears as soon as the car is up to temp. Think my scorpion expands a fair bit when it's warm!
Edit: Rofl at nearly everyone in this thread having the RS192! Cat weld is always an option!
I left my silicone for about 3/4 of an hour after fitting, car untouched... Then started up and kept to low revs.
No idea if this is right, or if heat hardens it, but my thought's were that if it wasn't still aligned correctly then I'd be better letting it harden slightly than start the car...
If your contemplating spending the extra my input would be I'd rather have a trophy over an LY. Not that I don't love the colour, but for the money... The trophy is a more sorted car.
