What kind of wire is on the aerial? Is it just a single cable running to the back of the headunit? Could I effectively make my own?!

Tried Matt yeah, he said hes never heard of them, which gave me little faith, but knowing you have/had one has brightened me up a bit! Need to sort something as cant get the car sprayed until I decide either way!!

Gutted.....really wanting to get rid of my aerial and have it welded and smoothed over....

I have been told it is possible to buy a different style of aerial which is just a small reciever box that can sit in a window etc, connect upto the headunit in the usual way and receive the signal.. Anyone heard/seen/know where to get one?!

Doesnt seem cheap mate, mine was 1800 FC at 19 with a modded 182. Tell Flux it's modified though, opens up specialist insurers and it's a lot cheaper, just ask The Boosh on here, he saved well over a grand on my advice of modifying it. All it needs is a panel filter, saved me tons too on both...
