The engine oddly isn't the problem, even this 998cc 160bhp unit will shift the car along very well, a bike gearbox won't. Its a pig to drive, a bike clutch doesn't like pulling 400 odd kilos away. The whole gearshift is VERY clunky. Still flat up shifts are cool.

The company Giulietta isn't the most entertaining so now the TT has (finally) gone I've purchased this!
Its got an R1 motorbike engine, its not the fastest thing on earth and bike engines can be frustraiting on the road but its fun enough, tyres are bit OTT for something that weighs 480kg...
Its complicated.
It was company owned by who I work for, but its just been sat for 2 months, so I made an offer and they took it.
I'm going to get the gearbox looked at and then i'll punt it on.
Drives like a dream. Gearbox warning light is on. I'm not complaining for £1000 notes. Its got full main dealer SH too, as well as 9 months tax and MOT.
I drove a boggo 1.6 with one fitted and it was alright. I think it was a 1.5 way one. You need some power to get the most out of them though really.
I always just used open diff's on my turbo 5.

Welding is fine if you want to drift all the time. Which I assume you don't!
Look on driftworks forum for a diff. They tend to be cheaper than MX5nutz.
I was going to say MX5parts were always really quick for me.

I like the wheels that are on it. Small is cool!
