Thanks for the input people!! Stone in the brake pad could be something I guess, I assume when hot they may expand slightly, so definitely worth a shot. Edit: my brakes are occasionally scratchy on uneven ground as well, and someone mentioned stones getting caught in pads... This could be...

A little media upload from me. Firstly, I now have a new (well 2nd hand but new to me) camera :) After TheEvilGiraffe suggested a Canon 450D I haven’t looked back and I am really pleased with it. The only downside is that my photography skills can’t remotely do the camera justice as of yet and...

I'd only ever see 40+ if I reset the computer on the motorway in a 50 restriction... Over each tank I average 32-37 with no effort to be economical. That's brilliant value for money :)

In my opinion I think it would look awful on a Clio (especially the 182 wheels). Always willing to be proven wrong though!
