Thanks for the reply Mick
As far as I could gather inertia speed (wasn't something that I even thought to diagnose, but I don't recall it disappearing or slowing when the clutch was dipped). It also seemed to increase at a constant rate when going up through the gears which suggests it wasn't...
Cheers!
I have had a look and it's not really ticking a huge amount on idle and it's strange that it only occurs when pressing on a fair bit, definitely something to read up on for me.
Decided to go and stretch the legs of the clio this evening and it developed a ticking sound from what seemed to be the passenger side of the car, possibly the rear but not sure (could hear it with the passenger window down, but not the drivers side window).
Sounded very similar to having a...
Just paid £69 each delivered for these from blackcircles because camskill had no stock and so far very impressed (but I went from a mismatched firestone and hankook on the front axle)... It's wrong that I am sort of hoping for rain amongst all this sunshine
It is really satisfying doing it yourself but hard to get a perfect finish (I have just done diamonds & bullets and whilst they look pretty good, the sanding was knackering as I took it right back to the original plasticy/primer layer and the lacquering was a pita)...
If you do get someone else...
That's a good deal IMO if the belts have been done :)
I think about mine like this all the time and have to resist checking Ebay, PH'ds, CS, Autotrader for depreciating prices, only got it in Jan!! Even more so with the miles racking up.... I've come to the conclusion that the only viable...
A panel filter has an almost negligible effect on the Renaultsport range, bar the fact that in the long run it is serviceable rather than a consumable. You may find free flowing air frees up a minuscule amount of ponies but unlikely.
I am assuming the case is similar for the 1.2, so if it is...
Haha. My girlfriend lives out in the Gloucestershire countryside and the cows/bulls graze on the nearby commons. Just so happens they were on the one outside her front door when me and the Clio were paying a visit last weekend :)
Glad everyone appreciates a good cow snap and there are some...
Wazza* (sp lol :o)
Thanks for the info mate, Surrey Rolling road was the obvious choice for me as well but nice to know there is somewhere local. You BG has some of the exact choice mod's that I'll be going for in the near future. I'll give you a wave if we cross paths! Car looks brilliant :)
One more for the cow/bull fanclub as I'm feeling generous
And a cheeky groups shot for Dave as 2 clearly aren't enough to satisfy him ;)
why oh why am I keeping this going...apologies to all those who have wasted valuable seconds of their evenings viewing cows
Wozza your very local :) I'm only in Sidcup.
Do you rate Hayes Engineering in Erith? How much did they charge for exhaust fitting if you don't mind me asking (PM if preferred)? Definitely somewhere for me to bear in mind for the future for power runs if the need arises. Top project, jealous of...
Yeah I'd say 15 is optimistic... Although apparently with a decent map drivablility is greatly improved due to a smoother power curve and there is a bit more pull low down in the revs
Decided to treat the 182 to the ever popular "2 tongue method" of cleaning last weekend. Far better than this 2 bucket melarky...
Pointless thread for a boring evening :boring:
That is all lol...
