    Buddyclub P1 QF in 15inch ; ET35 or ET42 for 172Cup

I want those wheels!!! Need to save up though, get some pics up of them fitted! Personally, I would go for the lower offset and not bother with spacers, but thats just me. Spacers are obviously safe but I would just prefer to not use them if possible.

    Buddyclub P1 QF in 15inch ; ET35 or ET42 for 172Cup

No probs mate. I see your point, but it is only a few mm, maybe not enough to make you feel a difference but I wouldnt go higher than the std offset purely incase you get rubbing on the inside of the arch/on the shock. Technically it will put more stress on the hub, but withg the wheel being...

If you ever want a go in a 182.....;)

    Buddyclub P1 QF in 15inch ; ET35 or ET42 for 172Cup

The clio centre bore is 60.1mm, so you can run spigot rings to take it down to that, so no probs there. I would go for ET34, as they will give you a slightly wider track and no issues on rubbing on the rear shocks. If you plan to run 195/50's then they are roughly 14mm in diameter smaller...

Rob, next time you have a wheel off any chance you wanna take a few pics for me?! How does the offset differ from your turinis to the cup wheels though, that might be part of it?

Haha! The catching worries me though! So need to get that problem sorted, then I'll look at going lower! Should have some 15's soon so then i'll be able to sort it all out properly!

I'll fit them if you want mate? Wouldn't take long. Well I've filed some back, if my dad is home tomorrow i'll nick his grinder and use that to get them all the way back or something! I've cut the archliner away Rob like we did on yours, so it's only the bracket thats hitting!

    Roll Cage Insurance

Flux don't charge extra for non performance mods mate, so your coilovers, wheels, cage, buckets etc should all be free of charge. Modified policies with them are cheaper than standard policies too! Edit, just seen you have tried flux...seems wierd that they will charge you for it, i might...

Well I can adjust it myself, but got no idea what it is set at, think its the kind of thing that you need training in to do properly. Although I think i've set it not too far off, drives and brakes straight, just needs the toe-in sorting and camber checking etc. On another point, I have just...

It's still got the nut thing on the rear assembly, and about 10mm between the bottom of the platform and the trailing arm, but i'm quite happy with how it sits to be honest. Not sorted the rubbing no, its gonna eat through the arch liner pretty quickly I think, gonna get it in the air tomorrow...

A couple of quick ones taken a second ago, bad quality on my phone but you get the idea!! Get your camber on.... Note, camber is no longer that negative, I sorted it out today! Hopefully getting set up properly asap when the lad is free.

Hmm, I'd rather not grind anything though....although I know it is probably the only way!! It isnt catching much so hopefully it will just stop once I cut the arch liner piece out, although it isnt far to wearing through! Does the tyre make a differnt noise when on the bracket compared with...

Haha, I like that idea! Might lift it up over the weekend and cut the offending bit away, but I know it will catch on the bumper bracket.....

Sorted it out today, took the back nicely lower, and levelled the front down and went lower too, got some catching on the arch liner though, so I need to do something with that before it wears through onto the bumper bracket....anyone got any advice/ideas?!

    lightweight wheels

http://www.k-tecracing.com/show_product.asp?id=2215 - job done. I want them, need some money first though! Rotas are very light. Might be worth looking at mx5 wheels, but the mx5 has a centre bore of 54.1mm so would need some that have run on spiggot rings.

This is currently how the camber is set, not the best pic i know! And this is the angle it sits at, screen print from my iphone - highly accurate!!! So that shows how much the wheel is sat at neg camber, any ideas how much it is iset to, I was thinking 2 degrees would be a lot less...

Cheers, will be better when I sort the height! First time I lowered my 1.2 it took maybe 5 hours doing it using a guide from here, it isnt hard, one of the jobs that is easy once you have done it! If you want me to write you a step by step guide in detail pm me, i have lots of spare time in...
