CSS Survey - A few points to note.

With the £2.50 off voucher - it was about £2 for a burger and a plate FULL of amazing chips. I've had office canteen food that was worse and double the price

    Making a 200 BHP clio?

In typical Cliosport form - lots of bickering and differing opinions LOL Let me reply as someone who has done what you want. Firstly get the "I need 200bhp" out of your head - what does it matter if you get 190 or 196 or 200 - if it's faster and the power is mid-range, useable and makes the...

CSS Survey - A few points to note.

Have any of you lot actually been to another car show and paid £8 for a hotdog you could use as an emergency window-smasher if you rolled your car into a lake?

Yeah I've eaten a LOT worse at shows - I'll agree it was a bit dry from being kept warm, but then if the'd cooked everything fresh everyone would winge that it took 5minutes to turn up LOL I was just gobsmacked that we both ate and I got some water for less than £15 lol

CSS Survey - A few points to note.

I haven't read the whole thread but I've read a load of food winging and got to this and felt the need to reply WHUT?? With our £2.50 off vouchers me and Leah ordered a plate of chips, a bottle of water, and a burger and chips. It came to about £5 which is the cheapest food I've had at a car...

Whiteline ARB on standard suspension set up

Also there is a set of Eibachs (I think the proline ones) that doesn't actually lower the car - so if you want to firm the ride up and stop it rolling a bit - go for them I did the nurburgring in mine with Eibach sportlines and a whiteline ARB - it was awesome! :D

Another Clio 172 Cup track/race build.

Yeah the semi assembled loom - but mine was assembled by the previous owner of the bodies who made a complete **** up of it - so going to make a new one over winter

Whiteline ARB on standard suspension set up

Rear ARB really reduces the low speed understeer I had one fitted to mine when it was on standard shocks and eibach springs - made a massive difference. The car was a lot more fun Get it done :)

Yep - cut all that out, and the injector loom, coilpack, etc... pretty much everything was cut out back to the main trunk of the loom

Best First Mod - 172 Cup

I agree with chip - there is no "first step" or "cheap" performance mod for clios Most induction kits lose power, decats do feck all. A remap will get you a few more bhp - but then every other mod you do you'll have to remap it It costs £3k+ to get an extra 20bhp out of these cars. Just get...

    Cannot get front discs off

A foot long bar on a T40 bit? I always find that just rounds the bit off as you can't really apply enough pressure to hold it in the screw Impact drive that I posted - every single time. Hammering the thing stops it slipping and rounding the bit off and shocks locktite off if the previous...

Race Tech Dash is what I'm going for this winter - then I can bin the standard ecu and the last of the renault wiring :) The thermostat housing is plenty thick enough to be drilled and tapped for a standard omex water temp sensor mate, Mines been in there all year and it's had some serious...

Another Clio 172 Cup track/race build.

Don't know about the coolant sensor mate - I got a drilled and tapped thermostat housing with my kit so am using that. As for wiring loom - I used the one that came with it, which I believe K-Tec made. It's awful. The injector part of the loom is about 2 foot too long and some other parts are...

Best First Mod - 172 Cup

Without sounding like a dick - Neither The RS Tuner gives you a higher rev limit and the feeling of a BIT more poke - but not worth the money The 182 manifold and decat is an absolute pain to fit and just makes the car noisier The K-Tec induction kit they've just released that puts a...

I'd heavily recommend the manfrotto super clamp mate http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Manfrotto-Super-Clamp-with-Stud-and-Tripod-Head-/400195289807?pt=UK_Tripods_Monopods&hash=item5d2d7f82cf Those are SOOOO sturdy - you could mount a massive dslr on one if you wanted! I use that same clamp in...

    Electrical Gurus HELP

Ahhh that makes sense then haha I've managed to get the 2 metal pins out the connector block now by pushing staples either side of them and then pulling I don't think I'll be able to recrimp the pins because they're tiny So my plan now is either to find a couple of the little pins and a...
