Right - I know I shouldn't care how dirty the track car is but the old OCD cleaning ***** part of me won't die
I have white 2118's and DS2500's - the nightmare combo
Every week the wheels are black
I used to just use meguiars alloy wheel cleaner which did a good job of getting rid of the brake...
Yeah I know LOL
I wanted something to fit just so I could get it up to temperature in the garage and make sure the map was ok and idle was ok and there was no coolant leaks after I fitted the ITB's and new rad - so I bought the cheapest I could find and figured if it was crap I'd just bin it...
It's one of those jobs where I think as I'm already going to be at Fred's having my cambelt done - I'd rather have a bacon sandwich and a cup of coffee and let someone do it who's done it before
Plus he can look over all the winter work I've done and tell me if I've cocked anything up before I...
It's done 60k on motorway drives, 6k on nurburgring trips lol - last 2 owners did 30k a year on motorways - but still it's had a hard track life with me so they probably need replacing
I just read a thread where Fred said he charges 1.5hrs labour to do them - mine needs cambelt doing soon too...
I've got a bit of a weird "clunk" happening on the Cup when I brake - so last weekend I jacked it up and swung on everything to see if there's anything loose from the winter rebuild - couldn't find anything but I did stumble across the front wheels having a bit of play when you grab them at...

Check out the photo cotton covers!
Some lovely shots there
I've got the non-IS version of the 70-200mm f4L and I love it - it's absolutely pin sharp
I'm upgrading to the f2.8 IS II this year :D
Re: A few new additions to Trophy 147/500 - RS2 Fitted
I hate those things that mount the coilpack up high - got one with my ITB kit but because of the strut brace it wouldn't fit
The kit that mounts them on the side is so much tidier but k-tec charge a fortune for them!
The 106/Saxo PAS pump is an electric one - fairly common on kit cars because you can mount them anywhere and they have a built in header tank - all they need is a 12v supply to run :)
Re: My Phase 1 ITB Daily Runner
LOL did the same thing in mine against an S4 the other week - he was the typical "suit hanging from rear window" type and decided he was going to destroy a little Clio - lmfao yeah ITB'd clio's aren't slow hahaha
Re: James/BigAsh 182 Race Car by TDF... It doesn't get much better than this! *Pic He
There comes a point where getting it through the MOT is a limiting factor doesn't there
And I know what you mean about driving them - on a motorway mine makes me go deaf after 30 minutes. It's awesome if you...
