Have you checked things like the driveshafts etc... He could have had another customer in needing one, and switched with yours. Not trying to stir or anything, but there is no telling some of those parts were off of your car in the first place?

I'd go to Brettenham scrapyard and find a Clio and cut 6" of hazard loom off then test the ph1 pinouts and try and match up, somehow....

What's your problem with sky out of interest? BT are the worst company to deal with on the phone, yet engineers are nearly all the nicest and most helpful engineers you'll find.
