Looks good matey!
Only thing is, wont running the air re-route over the block mean that the air gets heated up before it reaches the point of combustion?
I want some track wheels on a budget mate, few people on here selling turbines dirt cheap, worth hundred squid surely?
Is it not worth swapping 16" turinis for 15" turbines then?
Have been out in subways car a bit and on 15's that handled so much nicer.
How much difference does wheel design make to brake fade?
ie- do more open wheels let more air in, and thus keep the brakes cooler, or does it really not make that much difference?
Was thinking of getting a set of turbines to use as track wheels, but they only have teenie vents on them, will...
He needs them thinner so the shocks dont rub on the wheels.
If he's just doing an engine drop how will the suspension be affected?
it wont mate, if its all bolting to the same running gear.
Reckon we should organise an evening drive next week, go out into the hills or summat for a bit. Any time after wednesdays good with me, how about u guys?
Or you could buy...
My fanulator (tm)
Glue one to the back of your car, turn on, and it blows air backwards making you faster!
Just £19.99. Proven gains guaranteed.
Good result that mate!
Seeing that, fred, whats the turnaround time on wheel refurbs? and how soon would i be able to get some booked in if i wanted it done?
Lol, i'll let that repost slip, as i actually watched it again! Watched the vid of the 182 cup also, would be interesting to have seen them both lap the track in similar conditions.
