Just been thinking, with all of the white car rush recently, is this not going to be the most common car colour pretty soon?!
If they do a 197 cup in any other colour but white then surely these will be so rare in a few years time? I reckon they will loose the exclusivity, much like a liquid...
Yeah, whenever i fill up my normal way home I coast a lot of it, see the comp at 99.9mpg and the miles left at around 3000!
Normally down to about 70ish by the time I get home, then straight back down as soon as it's started in the morning!
Haha,I almost considered it to be honest, but the back end was all over the place, was actually dangerous to drive! Pulled a sicky to swap it back over to standard!
Just a lot of coasting really mate, and cruising very slowly!
I'd never get it in the real world, as said i normally get about 44mpg, but this was purely just to see the highest I could get, will drop as soon as i re start the car tomorrow!
This was mine, 15" wheels on 195/50's!
(Lowered on springs, but they sagged dangerously over 2/3 days, this was just before i put the standards ones back on, a rough measurement before and after i swapped from the bottom of the bumper was about 130ish mm lower than standard, was pretty much on...

Nah just my mates plenham, just did it as a joke but many people fell for it!
I'm guessing the above is what you meant?
Haha, I try my best!
Well filled up earlier after dropping some wheels off, then dropped my mate off and thought I'd go for a mpg run to see what I could get, so did about 15 miles home the long way as economically as I could do, mainly roads at 30/40mph limits, a bit of national speed limit and some coasting gave...
nah they are still 7j wide so my 195's will fit snugly on them. Should look the bomb, yo!
Yeah i though about green but then they would be very similar to Dutty's, i think they are the same make of wheels.
The finish on the dish is how I have done them, that part isn't a photoshop.
Cheers...

I'm 90% sure they are the ones I want but just checking. It's a mk2 ph2 1.2 16v...
(no comments on the fact they aren't Eibach, they are good enough for me now until I can afford coilovers...
Place in Derby mate called Advanced Autobody, only an hour away from you and they are the dogs.
Recently did a lot of work on Paul Daniels' Vanquish, looked mint! (My dad rents the building out to them so I know they are VERY good)
Right over the past few days I've been working very hard on my new MIM's, started off like this:
Wern't looking too happy for themselves to be honest. So attacked them with some Brillo pads, stanley knife scraper, various grades of wet and dry, and then some autosol this evening.
After that...
Just been to Stoke to get some new wheels for the clio, hopefully will mean I like it again!
They need boring out and a good refurb but should look awesome come next year, so watch this space!!!
