mine are really grippy,
you would expect to lock up in the rain with brand new tyres if you braked hard because the shiny stuff on the tyre has not worn off give them a few more miles and i am sure you will be pleased.
when i first had the car i used to put normal unleaded in but then i changed to super it did make it better but i think i notice it more now my mate has mentioned it.
thanks for the replys, i didnt think it was a prob but wasnt 100% sure, i run sainsburys super but i might try optimax to see if it makes any difference
i know they are supposed to be a bit ruff when cold for the emmissions but the other day my mate said to me that he noticed it felt funny when idleing at traffic lights when it was warm, it hard to describe but suppose its like all the electrical bits have been switched on and put a strain on...
mine does it too i think it is just water in the back boxes from washing the car etc and at 5k it sucks it up and spits it out (the 172 prob wont do it because the exhaust is under the bumper), the first time this happened i shat myself but does it quite a bit now, all you need to do is go for a...

if you have air-con in the cup then you will have a problem (IIRC you only get a relective screen with air-con)
ive got a B2 and have fitted the gps reciever by the back window works fine there
i have a 182 wheel in my boot it does take up a bit of space but is is better than being stuck in the middle of wales for 2 hours (couldnt use tyre weld as side wall split) not being able to get to my destination and when being brought back on the back of a transporter getting my wheel...
you would need a 165/70/14 or 165/65/15 i think clios are 165 tyres

one has all the toys and one has f**k all and not really any diff in performance.
i had the 182 because i wanted climate/cruise/ nice seats etc but if this doesnt bother you get the cup
oh and this is not the start of a which is fastest debate;)
most people inc me have brought the 182 with cup bits as it is only a few hundred quid more
you cant buy the cup suspension seperate but you can get the spoiler and splitter but IMO you would be better getting a cupped 182 there are more about than the non cupped 182
BTW welcome

when i had my focus it didnt have variable intermittent and i just changed the stalk for one out of a ghia with the variable intermittent, would this work on the 182 i.e get a stalk from a dynamique or is it controled from a computer somwhere?
i wouldnt drive very far with the fuel light on but me and my mate were coming back from a rally last year in his diesel mondeo and we did 120 miles with the light on :o i was bricking it because we were on the m-way
never understood people wanting to pick their cars up at midnight you cant see if there is any damage to it in the dark
anyway what colour you having Ian?
they are crap mine drops from full to half in about 60-80 miles then it goes down slow after that, first time it happened i thought i had a hole in my tank or i had a very quite 6.0 V12 inder the bonnet;)
the CC prob is the switch i had the same thing, i took it in for a new switch under warrenty came out and it happened again about 2 days later (dont think they changed it) then i took it to another garage they changed it and it has been fine for months and now feels more positive when it is...
get the LCR spending 3k on mods is a lot, with the LCR it is a fresh car and you wont get bored with it as quickly and it does look nice.
as for body roll i dont think i would worry too much i dont think my 182 has too much body roll (on the road) if it was used on the track a lot (i.e more...
