High Dynamic Range. HDR is usually used to descibe the process of merging multiple images of different exposure of the same scene together to produce one image that is correctly exposed over the entire frame with no over or under exposed areas
looks terrible imo, the ghosting/glow ruins them. you need to play with the settings a lot more in the tone mapping. it is possible to produce images that look like genuine photographs while still having the increased dynamic range.
I admit I am going back a couple of years to when I was looking at induction kits for my clio but you could definately then get the aerofoam for circa £100 delivered. Ebay used to be flooded with them, both the plastic crap and the decent ones.
Once again? I dont think i have posted about simota since you have been a member!!
Anyway, I have seen the aerofoam on there before for half the RRP, new.
Practice is the most important thing. IMO knowing about the technical side of photography is secondary to knowing what makes a good photo so reading up on composition techniques is where you need to start. Then move on to improving them through technical changes
I wouldn't term it 7th best in the world as thats very misleading. 7th best out of the entrants who entered an internationl competition yes, but thats very different to 7th best in the world.
Photography is far too varied a medium to ever say who are the 'best' photographers. As ukaskew said...
Check with your insurance company about needing to declare them. Most mainstream insurers dont insure like for like with mods. If you do need to declare them and havent, they will void your insurance, so if you arent going to declare and need to, you might as well fit them and cancel your...
The point of the photo was to show a red telephone box placed in a country lane in the middle of no where. Its also, to my eye, quote an appealing image due to the contrast of red on green as someone pointed out earlier. As I said in the post above, art will always split opinion, as long as...
No offence taken from any of what you guys have said. End of the day photography is art and opinions on art are more varied then they are on politics! :clown: Thank you for all the critique and comments.

I was going to put them in the original post and forgot, and then went to sleep :o

and these are the photographs that made up my...
Was trying to get a quote online from DirectLine and it kept telling me it didnt recognise the number plates i was putting in. Tried selecting it from the list and not there, so, who do I try for a quote? I dont want to trawl round insurance companies as at the moment i am just looking at...

Long story short, I qualified last year for an International Photographer of the Year competition. Those who qualified had to then produce a photographic essay on the theme of 'My Town'. The results were announced today and I placed 7th! yeah at first 7th doesn't sound great, but this was a...
