That's what I'm looking for - a local refurb place that can either refurb mine (I don't mind car off road for a week) - or sell me a refurbed one
Laguna 1.8 8v is actually what I drive as my daily hack LOL
My alternator is on the way out (stop and battery light on if you use headlights or revs drop below 1k) so I need a new one, or a low mileage 2nd hand one or a refurb or something LOL
I've been checking ebay for ages and they don't seem to come up
Emailed/PM'd and sent an ebay message to...
LMFAO @ the news report - so clipped gently and rolled onto front bumper exactly like I said - completely un-noticed
Not shunted and dragged for miles by road raged fuelled lorry driver ;)
LOL yeah the build quality won it for me on the 24-70 canon/sigma argument
I got my second hand 24-70L for about the same price as a new sigma 24-70mm 2.8 HSM - but I felt it would last longer
I've been there for bits before - but didn't think they'd want to split a couple of parts off an otherwise perfectly good rear bench
I'll try asking though
Yeah was a good meet - enjoyed thrapping around my remote control car and the sun was nice for photos - just a bit gutted you lot didn't follow us
That V6, again... makes me drool lol
I just don't think slagging off 106owners who weren't even there is called for - just pathetic.
A hah - you have to strip the back of the seat off and press a couple of clips with a screwdriver but they do come out
The ones on my cup seats are mullered LOL - Does anyone know what the part codes are for them from Renault?
Bumping a really old thread - but one of mine is broken on the back bench
Do they come off to be replaced? I tried pulling at it but it didn't seem to want to come off
Comments like that are why every time an FCS comes around peoples cars get keyed and paint strippered - what's the point in slagging off my club - when the people there weren't even from 106owners?
They were from performance on track
And it was inevitable that people were gonna end up...
Sort of fully agree LOL
The sigma 24-70 f2.8 HSM is a stonking lens - and in some tests is sharper than the canon 24-70L BUT.. and its a big BUT.. as with all sigma stuff it's such a lottery as to wether you get a good one or a crap one
So many front/back focus issues :(
Taking that into...
Yeah bit of a weird meet - I thought you lot were all following us to park in the sun - there was a big parking area near the cricket pitch that was warm and sunny
We stayed there for a bit - chucked my RC car around - then went into worksop for some food/drinks
Bit weird that you lot didn't...
I don't even know where the white gates are
Do you go in limetree avenue through the big arch - then make a left somewhere towards where they usually ask for money?
There's more to the L lenses than just a low aperture - the quality of them is fantastic, even wide open at ƒ2.8 they are pin sharp!
Colours are richer - just a mind blowing lens
Widdo - get your priorities right ;)
I'll be there for 3 - no idea where those circles on that map are supposed to be so I'll just take a slow drive down limetree avenue and see if I can spot the convoy of clios lol
Oh man it really wasn't put together well - the zoom part was soooo loose
Walking around donington it just kept extending on its own - drove me nuts lol
Personally I'd have it in reverse and my foot nailed to the throttle - coming off and into an armco is survivable - thats what cars are designed for these day. If the tyres burst and the car flipped - you'd be dead
Thanks for the comments
Dan - they were taken with strong sunlight behind on purpose - I kinda liked the overexposed backgrounds :p
Yeah I like a bit of reach too - but Im getting the 70-200 f4L next month to cover that :)
I'm using it on a Canon 500D at the moment
Saved up a bit, sold my canon 28-135mm IS thing and splashed out
£750 on a year old (but MINT boxed etc..) 24-70mm f2.8L
I've only had time to take a couple of quick test shots but oh.my.god I'm fully in love!!
Going from consumer glass to L glass is rediculous - the level of...
