Can I ask why you're using bootcamp? Bootcamp is ok if you want a dual boot scenario - so you can choose OSX or Windows 7 But if you run VMWare Fusion you can run Windows 7 64bit in a virtual machine within OS X This means you can boot the windows install up whenever you need it and close it...

yeah the 17-55 2.8 IS is a lovely lens - but not very long for general shooting. It's the one I considered before I blew my budget and got the 24-70L :D
