1000D - every day of the week
The D3000 uses an old sensor - but it is easier to use - it also has a bigger screen BUT (and this is what I hate about nikon budget range) - some lenses you'll have to manually focus as the body doesn't have a focus'ing motor. If you buy the lenses that auto-focus...
Surely it just comes down to whether you want to use it anywhere other than home??
I got a macbook pro cos I like to do a lot of coding out of the house (coffee shops, parks etc..)
If you just want it at home - get the iMac
Simples.
I've got a track day coming up and then a week at the nurburgring - and I'm not keen on constantly abusing the tyres on my turinis as they are road tyres
I can't really afford 2118's unless I use them daily either
So I was wondering - are there any renault steel wheels that are 6.5 or 7"...
Unreal - what kind of moron steals a car with a private plate and then leaves it outside their house? in the same town?
Chavs... *sigh*
Glad you're getting it back - hope its still in good condition
Dude - i've got the ideal thing for you
I used it for my 450F with lens, speedlite, spare lens, filters, etc.. etc.. and i've just chucked it on ebay
Has a slot for a laptop in the back aswell

If you're using a 400D in raw mode and doing 30 shots per house and 5 houses per day = 150 photos
You'll fit them on a 4gb SD card easily enough - but SD cards are soooo cheap these days just get a couple
When I had my 450D and 500D I just used to carry 2 x 8gb SD cards with me
I've finally got around to putting a few of mine on Flickr
Rest of them are here -> http://www.flickr.com/photos/fuzzy_orange/sets/72157624356133903/with/4788264190/
If anyone wants more of a certain car I'll see what I can do :)
Listening to Riley go up the mountain was hilarious.. wheel spin the entire length of it lol
Nathan not suprised you need new tyres after the way you attack those corners at the bottom of the mountain - tyre squeel round both EVERY lap lol - you're the only one who did - nutter!
I don't have a problem with the 21.5" I have on my desk at work - if its a desk/office scenario its fine
If its in your bedroom and your playing some movies and stuff on it though - get the 27". It's p**n.
Don't be - there's a big difference between a poorly designed system and people who just don't know how to fit it properly :)
It's a very well made system, with a lovely noise and nice power delivery
Just make sure whoever fits it pays a bit of attention to the finish
Brilliant photos! Puts mine to shame :(
I got a load of your car but I'm not sure how they've come out yet - I'll post them up tonight
After watching you guys all day yesterday I'm DEFINATLY doing the next cadwell day lol
I don't think you can buy one for that backbox bizarre mount - but the middle mount is just a standard oval mount - just measure it and buy one off ebay or tweeks
My middle mount has sagged loads - as I think the KTR exhaust is quite heavy - I'm gonna cut it off at some point and replace it...
I undid the bolt on the backbox bracket, pushed it up and retightened. No nocking and you can't see it at all from behind. Took less than 5 mins lol
The exhaust is soooo well built!
Has that 106 been a rickyp motor at some point - or just a lucky number plate?
I'll be at the old post office but I think I'll go for a drive with some of the 106owners lot before hand :)
Hrmm might be pushing that as I've got the rear brakes to do on the clio and it's an hours drive - but if you post up what time roughly you'll be up at emley - I can go straight there if I miss the 11am start
Anyone sticking around at old post office for a bit of lunch?
David - Thanks for the advice, i'll loosen everything off this weekend and see if I can twist it about - if I post some pictures up you might be able to tell me if mines on right or wrong - I'm 90% sure it's wrong cos it sits really low and nocks over every bump :(
Mines visible - I'm not cable tying it - that's a proper bodge
It's started knocking on the beam going over bumps this morning too
It should fit properly with the standard mounts - not with cable ties too
I'll cut and weld the K-Tec brackets to make it sit higher before I start throwing cable...
Mine has started knocking
On track at FCS it knocked like mad around right hand bends - it does also sit quite low even with brand new mounts all round :(

Be aware they don't have ABS rings though - so only for a cup
