I was waiting for someone to mention the side skirts. They're stone chip protectors :(
Cheers mate! Sometimes I think they look good then other times a bit chavy.
That's why I think I'll remove them sooner than later so they don't grow on me lol. Luckily the previous owner replaced the back...
Thanks for all the replies and pictures everyone. I think I'll take them off, like Sam said, I wouldn't be loosing anything.
I suppose I could always put a subtle tint on at a later date if I decide I don't like it.
Will it cause any damage to the heated back window at all? Just a bit worried...
Hi guys,
I'm in two minds about removing my window tints. The previous owner had it done so I won't be wasting any money by taking them off.
The only thing I'm worried about is that if I take them off, then realise I've made a mistake, I'll have to pay £100+ to get them re-done!
I had tints...
Re: Classic/Sports Car Show every 1st/3rd Wednesday - Griffin's Head, Papplewick, No
Just got back from this. I'd definitely recommend going down when it's better weather, saying that, there were still about 40+ cars. Some of them were absolute minters, it was like they'd never been driven...
Re: Classic/Sports Car Show every 1st/3rd Wednesday - Griffin's Head, Papplewick, No
Yeah alright then mate. It depends how long this rain carries on for if we actually go. I bet the field will be all waterlogged and swampy at this rate :/
I'll pm you my number in a sec :)
Noticed I had the same issue a few weeks ago. Put a jubilee clip on and cleaned up the grease on the inner of the wheel.
No more grease has splattered so I assume this has solved the problem. Can't see it pooping off either.

I finish work at 6 so I guess we'll just grab something to eat and set off about half past-ish.
Is your's a true 3/4 or just the width? And a smaller width on the back or length as well?
My mate at work has a smaller plate but its literally the size of my forearm, never had any trouble either!
It even had a small "cliosport.net" printed in orange at the bottom lol. They just had to go...
New number plates were the first thing I changed when I got the car. Makes it look a lot fresher IMO.

I wouldn't get the GB logo, makes it look a little cluttered. Plain and simple wins my vote.
Go for a cone filter mate. As Liam said, no point spending loads of money on an exhaust.
I had the K&N 57i kit on my 1.6 and that made it a lot louder on acceleration.
Ah that sounds awesome! Shame you had to sell it. You should've kept it as a sleeper and put 1.2 badges on lol.
And oh right, well don't I look silly :p try the blue one when you get chance, its amazing!
Re: Classic/Sports Car Show every 1st/3rd Wednesday - Griffin's Head, Papplewick, No
I think me my dad and I are going to pop up this Wednesday in the ST and 182. Apparently its not going to rain so that's a bonus as well! :)
I got a set from fancy plates last week and they provided the sticky pads and screw covers. Have a look at the bottom of the envelope ;)
What do you mean they're sticky at the back though, were the pads already stuck on?
Don't wet and dry, I think even with a fine grade it'll be noticable in some lights mate.
It doesn't even look too bad, but if it's bothering you - maybe you could order a new set from Ady and stick them on top?
Re: Classic/Sports Car Show every 1st/3rd Wednesday - Griffin's Head, Papplewick, No
Enjoying it I hope? :)
Yeah, had it for about a month now. No it's not that one, I don't think the owner is on here but he owns that garden machinery place opposite the car wash. I might have to put a CS...
I guess it depends how blue they are. My old Clio passed its mot with blueish side lights. It's at the tester's discretion so you never know.
Better to be safe and swap them over though.
The highest I go to is about 3k when it's not warmed up. What you've said sounds about right though. My old 1.6 was a lot worse than the 182 when cold.
