Re: SUPER 1600 REPLICA based on 172, CLIO WILLIAMS Tribute, CLIO WILLIAMS IV (Austra
Ah fair enough then mate, might sound silly but it could just be a case of sticking it on the roof and not actually cutting a hole in it to get around point 1 and 3. Eg- looks over purpose ;)
good luck with...
Very nice, didn't actually have time to read it all so I'll ask, is the car actually finished then? Because I couldn't tell which photos were models and which were real (if any).

Aww :( you've come this far and it looks brill, so you may as well go all out and fit it IMO haha!
Thanks for the offer but I think I'm better off getting a brand new one just in case the same problem occurs further down the line.
How much did you pay in the end mate?
Basically my alternator is on its way out and is overcharging the battery.
The STOP and battery lights are illuminated on the dash but it seems to run fine.
Took it to my local garage to diagnose it just in case it was something else but they quoted me £376 for a new alternator and labour...
Saw you in the Lotus at the crossroads then followed you through the high street, and then left down old mill lane.
(I assume it was you as I haven't seen another Exige around these parts)
My temperature gauge went one above halfway as well the other day. First time its happened too. Will this become a problem if it happens regularly?
Don't really know how it'd effect the engine being 1 bar higher but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

This just keeps getting better and better! Can't wait to see the front when that's done :D
A smooth rear wiper plate and a cup/trophy spoiler would finish the back end off nicely.
I actually like the ph2 bumper. You've got the best of both worlds there :)
The sat-nav idea is awesome! Really like that.
With the dials though, I think they'd look better if you changed the colour of the surround. The white background and silver surround clashes a little in my eyes.
EDIT: Before anyone says. Yes I know I had a silver car with white wheels... :p
If it's something expensive or fragile, eg cup spoiler, I usually wait until there's a seller nearby so I can go and have a look at it first before I commit to buy.
If it's a tow eye or something of little value I'll buy it in good faith and hope the description was accurate.
Had no issues so far.
Now you have new wheels what's gonna happen to the roof?
Think it might look a little odd being blue (unless you're doing a few little things blue as well)
If not, black would look good. It'd help hide the sunroof as well ;)
