    Cold exhaust start up hellp!!!

Yeah it takes a while to warm up though, especially in winter. Mine pops and burbles more once it's on a long drive. It also gets louder if you open the window a little ;)

    Fancy a video shoot?

Just watched the 6 minute one you made for college. Really enjoyed it and you're very handy with the camera. Those wheels and the coilovers make your car stand out a mile! Wish I lived a bit closer lol :p

    Thoughts on this clio?

It'd look a lot nicer if it was all white with those headlight covers taken off.

    Renault Clio MTV Project

As long as you like it that's all that matters. I like it anyway, think some colour coded bumpers and sidestrips would look good though :)

Re: Classic/Sports Car Show every 1st/3rd Wednesday - Griffin's Head, Papplewick, No I've been told about this. Apparently it's quite a good and friendly atmosphere. I'll be coming down as it's not too far away :) Not sure which wednesday yet though/

    clio 182

Looks really good mate. Lol at all the tiny details with the red bolts. Makes the engine bay look much fresher :) Wanting to get some top mount covers for mine, do they fit straight on top of the rubber bit or do you remove those prior to fitting the covers? Cheers, Dan

    Silver 1.2 16v Clio - DannyBhoy

    Geometry setup in Notts/Derby

Was just about to recommend ETS in Sutton. Only reason I went there was because it was too low to get the wheel aligning equipment on at my mates garage. They did a decent job though, £45 IIRC.

    FLOLOLOLOL GUESS WHO ????

Everyone knows who placed the ad lol :p I'm just waiting for him to make an appearance on here and tell us It's from a 1 off V6 once driven by the Duke of York. Hence the price.

Is there any need for all the arrows? The price is mental!

    The White 1.2

Haha :p I bet you meant Billy, he has the same colour that mine was. Think he sold them to Spinksy. It's not too hard mate, just make sure you prepare it well, that's important so it don't start peeling in a few weeks.

    RAGE!

Several clips round the edges. I used a small flathead screwdriver to remove mine when I carbon wrapped them on the old Clio.

    Rear wiper blank

No worries buddy, just be gentle when taking the wiper off. I managed to snap mine when I did it :( Really like flame red mate. We'll have to get some pictures together at CSS. (The cars I mean ;))
  19. D

    Rear wiper blank

You know how you can lift the wiper away from the glass? The flap thing I mean is the bit that stays flat against the glass on the left hand side. That's the bit that is covering the bolt you need to undo :P It just lifts up.

    Rear wiper blank

Just been discussing this with another member lol. Basically just lift the flap on the wiper, undo the bolt, take the wiper off (make sure not to snap it) then the wiper plate is secured by 2 clips, 1 either side. Gently prise it off and you're done :)

    The White 1.2

Hold on, I never had angel eyes ;) Car looks like a good start mate. The plans sound good too. I'd go 15" wheels though, they look a lot nicer when lowered and also handle better. Not really much you can do to a 1.2 in terms of performance. Maybe a cone filter to sound sportier?

    182 cup

Cheers for the info guys. Yeah they might be alright, thanks. Don't know whether to get those, contact Ady @ N2Grafix and get an anthracite sticker made up, or just leave it completely xD

Angel eyes for my 1.2 2002 clio need help!?

Get some sport xenons instead ;) If it's definitely angle eyes you're set on, I'd get the ones with the black surround. I'm not keen on the chromey look.

Ah okay, thank you. Might look into getting some then.

    182 cup

Did 182 cups come with the door pillar badges as standard? I regularly drive past another inferno cup with them on but mine doesn't. Just wondered if mine have been removed or if he has added the 172 cup badges and removed the '172'. Cheers.

What colour did you go for mate?

    my dci 100 172 rep

Ooh fair enough. Yeah I wouldn't want to go any higher than 25mm as they'd put more strain on the bearings.

Front wheels could be pushed out a little but other than that it's very nice mate :)

    -Danman-'s Mk2 1.6

Pretty much yeah. I just masked over the black bit so it wouldn't get deep scratches in because I was using quite a coarse bit of sand paper. Then I just used 600-1200 wet and dry paper to even it out.
