Mobil 1 15W-50 is a good oil and in the summer its fine mate, i personally wont use it in the winter as i found it to be crap to be honest, Silkolenes 15W-50 is better if thats the grade you want to use...
no point re-startin the car ?...
if you have room, you could add some Mobil 1 0W-40...
use a thinner (WHEN COLD !) oil then guys, get yourself some fully synthetic 5W-40
a guy on here uses the halfords stuff on his williams and its pushin 150k now !
i use Total Quartz 9000 5W-40 on my RT, and i used to get a bit of tappin before the oil got to the tappets, dont get it anymore...
make sure you mention your a clio sport member, you get discount !
fuel consumption didnt change very much on mine, though at first you might think its gone down because you will be testing the chip out :)
my insurance is VERY mod friendly, cant remember if it went up at all...
to be honest steve, if your gonna end up goin to hill power for anythin, i wouldnt bother doin it, for the money you will pay you can seriously get a gtt conversion
if i was you id speak to nick about it, hes not gonna give away how to do it easy, but hes helpful as you well know...
afaik you should shove the whole engine in, and for whatever reason i dont think Nick Hill could get the engines to run on an ECU so he uses a mappable Lumenition ECU.....
Marc go Halfords an get some Wynns Xtreme, i thought that one was good last time i used it, use it with a full tank of optimax too
you could also try some of that Ecotek power foam, its fairly expensive but its supposed to be good an has been tested by Midlands Performance Centre and it gave...
just dont use the Slick 50 oil treatment mate, it used to (possibly still does) contain solid small particles of ptfe
ptfe is a good low friction thing, but solid particles in oil isnt good, and ive also heard it can clog in places such as in the filter...
yes it can, but there not like ur usual induction kit, its just a bolt on (some of em jubilee on) filter
if you want somethin thats shielded get the hill power one...
thrash it within an inch of its life before it goes in
and did you stick your hand around the joins mate on the cat......you cant just look cos it might be comin out of the top...
Daz try 36 front , 34 rear, an see what you think, if its too hard for you then let a bit out....
its best to mess around with it an see what you think is best
maybe its my tyres then, but there is no way id have 28 in !........
you have to just try it out yourself and see what you think is best for how you want the car to act and how you drive
JJ172, with your car being a new car, and with the latest emissions controls being really tight, the car will be running on the edge of lean anywayz, enough fuel so its safe, but so that the emissions are kept low
add extra air to it through an I/K an it will tip it over the edge id have...
