dont think its the wheels as ive swapped em around and the problem hasnt moved
had the car HPI checked an no accidents came up, and everythin looks in order
yea im usin wider than normal wheels but it never really depends on the road, its always to the right
im pretty sure its somethin...
right, this problem has been there for a bit now
at any speed after approx 50mph my car will pull to the right when i brake, it gets worse with speed
it happened when i had my 1.4 brakes, it happened after the system was bled and new brake hoses, its still happenin with new calipers discs...
Shell Helix Plus 10W-40 is ACEA A3 and B3 rated
which means its suitable for high performance vehicles, meanin its a good oil
A1 is for fuel economy your right, but only 30 rated oils usually get that, and in my opinion there too thin to use so id advise against that
if they have it, then...
NOOOOOO !!!
f**k mate !!!!.....thats well bad, glad ur ok though
if i was you id definitely get down to ABP as it sounds as though they havent done there job properly !
gutted !
for some reason ive got 7cm in my head, about the legal height of a speed bump, for some reason i also have in my head that most are illegal but no1 does anythin about it
im sure ive read this somewhere but cant remember where
me mate Paul (coolspot007007)came round today in the Renault 5 GTT he has bought to go into his 16v
now all i can say is WOW !
that is one damn quick car !.....there is nothin gonna stop me from gettin a GTT conversion now, its seriously like sh*t off a shovel, i couldnt believe how fast it...
try it fo yourselves, ive never had a problem with straight line grip, but i swear my car goes round corners a lot better with 36 - 34 than with somethin like 32 - 30
it might be the tyres im runnin i dunno ?
wot wheels are u puttin on, u probably wont need the arches rollin unless ur puttin 17s on
there is two diff types, 52mm space between bolts, and 54mm space between bolts, only way to tell is to measure your car
Hill Power can sort suspension yea, had mine done there, but i dont think Nick...
hehe, adtmits saw me goin under a bridge the other day, ask him how loud it is !
if you want quiet dont get one, however they are doing diff centre sections now with diff silencers on, so i reckon you could get one to suit your needs
i paid £233 for mine delivered...
yea mine does too Nick, you should find it does it a lot quicker when you have only had it off for a few minutes
also movin the antenna might help cos it did on mine
Ben P yea those are the ones......i really like em....
on the Need for Speed website it says mk1 3 door IIRC, but in my DT catalogue it says 91- 16v 3door
however, on the NFS webby it does have 2 sets of skirts with diff part numbers, only one has a picture, and the descriptions are exactly...
it depends which filter is on it........for my car the Halfords and Champion filters are quite big, but the Renault OE one is really small
the Puriflux ones are the best (Renault OE......get one from your dealers...)
yea, i like higher pressure myself, its a bit bumpy at times but the grip on bends seems to be better
wheel size doesnt matter as its pressure, which isnt a measurement of the amount of air
i use 36 front and 34/35 rear....
just give it a try an see what you like best
T.Ferrino.........as the oil warms up it gets thinner, so therefore even though the tolerances will get smaller, the oil will get thinner
if your car is using a lot of oil then some seal somewhere isnt sealing, i know my car isnt a 16v but mine hardly uses any oil at all...my mate Pauls 16v...
i was thinkin of gettin some side skirts for my car but there aint many that i like, when i was lookin in Demon Tweeks i saw some RGM ones which i love !
but it says for Clio 16v, would these fit on my RT ?....or would the bits where it goes to the arch be different with the 16v being wider...
ive got the rally pads on mine at present with some G88 discs.....not sure what there like on standard discs, in fact i wouldnt use the rally ones on standard discs....but there pretty good with my discs, esp once you warm em up
if your after some pads for standard discs id go with Pagid ones...
