I think the close ratio box on the 197/200 helps. The 1*2 would be a lot better with an extra cog, faster gearchange and shorter ratio's.
I still need to try a Mk3.
Won't be able to make this one :dapprove: devvo'd.
Between fixing the 182, and a mate coming back from Afghan and one going all within a month its safe to say my time and funds are rather diminished.
After speaking to Neil they have beaten Brentacre's quote by £53 for the same terms.
Thought I'd update this thread just to let everybody know. Top customer service from Neil and his team.
Brentacre have recently given me a very good quote of £889 for myself (22, 5 years ex, 5NCB) on my 182 with unlimited mods <180bhp.
Greenlight couldn't even quote me which I thought was poor.
I'm waiting on Flux's renewal quote but it would have to be very cheap to outweigh Brentacre's...
Re: 197 Gearbox's
197 Cup's have woeful spec. I can see the point in 172 Cup's as they're actually lighter but in reality is there any difference between a Cup packed 197 or a Cup?
