I wouldn't be concerned about mileage if the car is in good condition. Its just the 100K and bin it culture we have in this country. In the USA for example 100k is nothing.
I'd buy it, although if you can get an average mileage one for £500 more I'd be looking to pay a little less for the high...
Ok I'll rephrase. For an upgrade on a road car it is not really great value for money. To spend 50%+ of a cars value on an upgrade that will gain say 10% peak power doesn't seem worth it to me.
I considered getting cams for mine and that was what I concluded when I did some research.
To go against the grain, I like it as a product rather than a car. In that it will sell well, and be a great car to a lot of people. Just not enthusiasts.
A 182 will do that, maybe a little more.
The fact that very few 138's were sold tells you why it isn't the best of engine options tbh. Much rather have a mapped DCI 106.
May as well.
To be honest the 1*2's aren't really that expensive to run. Tax is twice as much as a 1.2, and the cambelts are expensive. Other than that they're not really expensive at all.
Tyres could be classed as expensive compared to the 15" 1.2 wheels but in reality a set of premium...
The are really rare over there as Naith said.
Driving to Le Mans a bloke in a van applauded my car after pointing at it and saying Renaultsport to his mate in the van with him. Was amazing to be honest.
