got the passenger side off and fitted a new one, came to the drivers side and i've undone the 21mm nut but the track rod end just wont budge. any other way other than a bit of heat?
would love a bike but my biggest fear are the knob heads on the road that don't pay attention/on their phone whilst driving... one mistake by you or someone else and it could be curtains for you.
Had some time to kill so went and had a look at a mk1 focus rs... They look so much better in the flesh. They also had an old escort with some rally spec lamps that also looked amazing... 25k for that though
lambo was speeding, but like a few have said it'll go against the mazda for pulling out.
i'd say there were a fair few super cars there so a lot their with the cameras out filming them accelerating revving etc so not really a coincidence that it was filmed
i had a immobiliser problem not so long ago where mine would stay solid, ended up being my earth strap.
when i was searching around i think your problem came up a few times, purple and white twisted wire on the loom going across the gearbox to the fuse box was one that solved their problem...

thats the stuff you want
EDIT: takes 3.1L
yeah i have the ktec kit and have had no problems with mine, although mine doesn't get used as hard as most. One thing i will say is that the nuts aren't the best mine have flaked and look like s**t now but not too bothered about that.
Immobiliser stays solid sometimes now, wiggled a few wires and it'll go off.
One of the wires that I wiggled was the one that goes to the coil pack so I took it off and this is what it looks like.
Is that right?
Ok cheers mick, they're both on I'll upload a picture where they are. When I was doing a search you said to do a continuity test on the purple and white twisted cable. My multi metre didn't change it said saying 1.
Not sure if I done that right but I put one on the purple in the white connect...
Before i changed my gearbox the immobiliser light would sometimes flash fast but not often, i've now changed me gearbox went to start it and the light will either flash fast or stay solid every time now. I've pulled out all the fuses and put them back in, i've checked the white and purple...
all you can hear with mine are the relays clicking, i either have a solid light or the light flashes... i've checked all fuses/relays can't find nothing no idea what else it can be.
think i have the same problem, immobiliser has been playing up for quite a while now but just changed the gearbox on my 172 cup and now the immobiliser light will either stay solid or flash. i've taken all my relays out they're all clean all my fuses seem ok got a new battery, not sure what else...
