Got a set of TOYO T1Rs for daily road use primarily, (Cheap) then if it gets too wet on track when I'm using the Yoko AD08r's on the track (Which don't wear well, but are really grippy) I would then put them on .
Ive used the T1Rs for about 3 months and they seem OK in the dry, (Wouldnt want to...
Put a tank of V-Power in, and issues seem to have settled
Revs settle at about 600 tbh, and start around 750rpm- so my original 500 was a little low, unless it was the fuel making the revs drop?
Got a fuel filter on the way just in case- where is fule filter located?
Looks like the Mrs has the day sorted at work- hotel on the Friday, and Saturday camping (Not done that for 20 years odd - France 98 World cup)
Stick me down for a whole track day, and will bring a few jars of cider.
We are in :-)
LOL. Its fine. I messed around with the ICV on installation, that may be it. But its best not to get fussed bout these things i find (Been like it for 6 months) . But thanks for the help all the same
Even the lumpiness at idle seems to have withered away
Must save on fuel, surely
Ha! well the wife might be coming, but not in a tent (LOL) (Too many double entendres in this exchange)
And if the wife not coming, just a few ciders for me
Realise there is stacks on this issue, as 1*2's or known for it
Point is: on my Y reg 172 having just approaching 92k miles, is its never been noticeable before. In fact i was chuffed at how smooth it was and put it down to my care of it with additives and general maintenance (LOL)
So, always...
Left (silver gators so you couldnt see them) them on my wheels and when removed aftre 18months the clear coat had gone white, and raised off in several places.
Fab piece of kit in the dry, and good quality to protect the rims from scuffs
Ruined a set of wheels
Rimblades are better as they are...
^ ^ As above, go used to start
Ive bought a set of Dunlops used for £40. Coupletrack days left in them. £10 per wheel fitted cheapest i could find (Theyre fine if you dont want to drive there and back to the trackday on them)
Also had a couple 595's given to me with a couple days (Thanks Amin)...
tried cleaning mine- no different. Concentrated on the throttle cable and throttle body for a few weeks
Then changed the ICV- all sorted!
Cleaning mine didn't work
Had this debate on several car forums, and u r right. If the jacking point is a mess where do you go? I use the metal bar that looks like a piece of 2 x 2 inch wood, but is steel. The chassis beam. You wont be able to use oem jack, and a low entry trolley jack is needed to jack up at that...
No intention to lecture, but Axle stands every time for me even if i go under for 5 seconds.
Someone killed themselves when there car dropped on top of them earlier this year down this way. was on all the local news etc/
Yep. Couple my jacking points are mush
Low entrance trolley jack just to the side of the mushed up bit does me, just for lifting
If working on the car, as said, axle stands on the chassis
So- ive been to a few now, today got to Greenlight quote, and they could only match what Flux quoted pretty much (Within a fiver)
Not aware that Dan ^ ^ has got back to me
Not gonna bother any more chasing up, looks like Brentacre for me then
Hi All- I am looking to organise this meet fro Cliosport members down on Brighton sunny seafront, primary organiser is ACE Café
Believe you can get a car Club stand, (Have done that a couple times in the past) by prior arrangement. If the weather is good it will be great, and if the weather is...
Yes- enquired on here, and he said prices were as he had posted up the year before. Its on here somewhere- as you said around £650 but not sure bout water pump
Edit - Well the Cambelt prices from Rentech were on here, cant find them now. Found a thread that refers to a cambelt price thread, so...
