    No welding required half cage

    Have just bought a 4 point rear cage, so in the deciding what to do phase. Seats will be ripped out in next week or 2 (Just got a 13 month MOT:-) and will get mounting plates welded in, even if its £150. Safe than sorry n all that.     I had this for couple months messing around. Idle fluctuated wildly between 600 revs and 3000 revs in traffic. Tried throttle cable change (Twice) and it helped, tried carb cleaning and greasing up, that helped. But could still see the spindle moving as you do. Cleaned the ICV too, that helped...

    Booked mine in for an MOT on Friday. Cant see much thats obvious If it gets thru, back home and start stripping the rear interior Then get someone to weld some roll bar mounting plates in Then in goes the roll cage Doubtful that done before Brands Hatch on June 6th

    Thats sorted then . 1st sesh took it easy, almost caught out on paddock bend first time round. Handles really tight round the hairpin, pulled away from a few there. 1st sesh got overtook by most. Was wet n raining tho, n my first time in the Car, lydden and the tyres. 2nd sesh an hour later...
