Re: Titanium Ph1 172
Cheers mate, really appreciate that!
The ph2 dash will physically bolt in but you need to change a few wires over on the heater control panel, there's a guide in the members area for the full conversion.
The 197 wheel needs a little tab removing off the back of it then...
Titanium Ph1 172
Tyres arrived yesterday so I finished painting the wheels and got them fitted, will get Pics of them on the car once the weather clears up!
Hopefully the centre caps should arrive next week.
Happy new year!
Re: Titanium Ph1 172
Kris Dark it does haha!
So had a little trip to Milton Keynes this week whilst I was off to pick some oz ultralagarra's up 15x7 and they weigh around 5kg a wheel which feels like nothing. Just waiting for the rsr's to turn up now!
Ordered a set of carbon centre caps too...
Just a quick one, does anyone's epas setup click when doing full lock?
I have checked the rack and the column mounts and they are tight, not sure what it could be unless the column itself is worn.
Do you need a drop of 80mm, it may ruin the handling, if your looking at going low and don't care about handling then the ktec/vmax coilovers are what you want and cheap.
If your looking for it to be a bit lower and drive well then something like kw, ast or bilstein is what you should be...
Cheers mick, I changed the tps again as I don't have access to a clip till next week, and my lad is removed so the switch is just unplugged.
As far as the throttle body is concerned it is possible to strip them down as Danny says, I've done it to this one and rebuilt it.
A mixture of...
Second hand mate, gave it a full strip down and cleaned then re greased where needed, it's in alot better condition than mine.
Tested the throttle body and it's definitely not that sticking, it returns to shut straight away.
Must be something else
Hi, all 1*2's come with power steering however 172's and 182's come with air con and a spring tensioner on the aux set up.
172 cup's come with pas but no air con, this Is where you see the difference in aux mounts as the cup runs a tensioner you can adjust manually.
All the mounting points...
So, I've now replaced the throttle body, replaced the tps the its and the map sensor and the revs are down to 1250 at idle once warmed up.
Could this be an air leak, I put new ngk plugs in so the inlet manifold has been off but I was sure I replaced this properly
Re: Titanium Ph1 172
Braided lines and a full system flush with ate super blue and the breaks feel incredible!
Also have a lightened flywheel and new clutch to go in when I get chance, but I have to rectify some little idle gremlins first. The ph1 has a mind of its own!
I attended a rolling...
I have a sticky idle on the ph1 and after cleaning the throttle body and replacing the throttle cable it still appears.
This thinking it's the icv, I have searched the forum but there's a few contradicting threads, if I put my thumb over inlet to the idle control valve and it tries to cut the...
Cheers Martin,
There is no throttle position one with it being a ph1 funnily enough, there is the carbon canister one and immobiliser link that are in orange and a abs and O2 one that are in red?
I didn't know you needed them unlocked to 'read ecu' I will buy the unlock code today and install...
Has anyone had this problem before? it's on a ph1 172, ignition on only, try to connect it to the car it's days the above but then the bottom of the window comes up as connected.
It also reads the fault codes but cannot delete then, and it is unable to read the ecu.
Anyone any idea's?
