I've removed the heatshields to make sure it's not them, checked again last night too! ideally need to get it on a ramp for better inspection, I will have another look tonight as its frustrating and annoying!
Spoke to ktec, awaiting a reply. Defiantly not mounts or hangers, if you tap the back box you can here them move.
Will update this with what happens when an outcome is solved
Re: Titanium Ph1 172
Went for a blast with Craig tonight an he instead we took a few pictures, it's abit dirty and the baffles in my exhaust were rattling. Also my map tank moved and a vacuum line came off so I need to jubilee the map tank down. There's a few little issues I want to sort before...
It's had a repair mate so I doubt they will honour it if it has a lifetime warranty, but I will ask.
And I've been under the car and checked but I will make sure for certain tonight.
Cheers guys!
I have a ktec stealth that is making an awful rattling noise, I pretty sure the baffles in the back box are rattling, is there an way to fix this of new back box needed?
Cheers in advance?
Re: Titanium Ph1 172
So the boddies are on and running, had a few little moments but with a few calls to Fred (btm), bit off topic but such a good guy, they were busy in the workshop and I didn't leave a answer phone message but he took it open himself to ring me back and help out and Paul...
Yes, I'm sure I've bled the full system unless there's another bleed point other than the thermostat housing?
I'm doing 100 miles tomorrow so will report back, cheers guys!
I've installed a polo radiator for my throttle body setup but now the temp on the dash does not get to half way it sits about a dot below, the fan doesn't kick in so that's not keeping the temps low and the thermostat is working? Has anyone else had this?
Cheers
Titanium Ph1 172
So, it's been a while since I've updated this, I'm not running satin black turbines with ph2 dynamic centre caps.
The rear interior is out and the inside will be painted titanium soon.
I also bought a set of boddies to run using a ph1 ecu set up, I have had them running...
What's the best way to get a drain in whilst using a ph1 drive shaft, just run a threaded an10 90 degree bend and tap the sump? Ideally I want the drain vertically below the turbo?
Or is it necessary I run a 182 shaft?
The big breather in at the back centre if the rocker cover? Surely venting it to atmosphere will leave oil spray all over the bonnet or is the breather hole actually small and the casting for it to sit in the inlet a misconception?
Cheers
