boy that looks really awkward! those springs just aren't right! I'd get H'R 's or other if V maxx won't be of much help

looks like reanult hates people trying to lower their cars and made the clios to turn only with the std suspension and rims lol

you have some 30 mm spacers on the front I guess.. that could well cause the rubbing, just imagine if the wheel is turned the spacer actually gets it closer to the arch, I'm dealing with this stuff myself and I'm not even on spacers, just 16" ultras (et37) otherwise it looks great :)

I have this clutch since 2009, covered about 25-30k with it so far I'm curious how they generally feel, mine is stiffer than standard, still creaks (will change the clutch cable soon and see if that will help) and aparrently has a shorter travel than the original- or my pedal assembly is messed...

I don't get it, I know that on a non cup car there will be a little more camber due to the bolt spacing being shorter but nearly three degrees negative that's insane!

did you solved the problem mate? I'd like to see a pic with the mounts assembled to the struts(if you have one). I also have gaz coilies but k-tec solid mounts and thinking of going to ast mounts in the future

no, you don't have to loosen that. It's only for setting the dampers harder or softer, depending on your preferences, nothing to do with the dissasembly of the strut. Looks to me that you are in the same difficulty that I was. I'd get myself some kind of a claw puller to get the top mount off...

yeah that's the damper adjusment nut. looks pretty low that second pic although hard to tell from that angle. from your memory, was it lower than this (judging from the gap):

as above really. avoid rear OEM shocks, my last set lasted 15-20k and then started to leak. front ones were ok though don't know if 172 rear shocks have the same reputation, mine were 182 cup ones

don't know how they compare to the OEM renault ones but when I was on the original pads, after about 10 mins of spirited driving they begun to give up a bit.

I'm at the point where I don't think coilovers offer that amount of adjustability without compromised handling- riding on the bump stops if too low for example you can read my post if curious about my experience(this may be helpful)-...

if the extra money for the 2500 aren't a problem I would go for them. It's good to know your brakes can take some abuse and still work

get some wd40 on the adjusters and get them lower on the strut, you will de-compress the spring and there will be no need for the compressor. And yes, you can get new springs from gaz or gaz suppliers. For the top mount you may heve to use some kind of extractors. I remember it was a pain for me...

lol I see that my case may have stumbled you :P I still feel the need for a last cry for help First question: does that seem right? that is a pic with the wheel off and the car in the air. you can see the travel available-85mm like I said before this is the car still in the air with the wheel...
