Parked outside the Bold Forrester pub, Sarisbury Green nr. Southampton last night. I was driving "the long way home" from running an errand ... like 25 miles longer ;)

Seems very easy to get one of those. In fact my Mk2 bonnet seems softer than the much lighter alloy bonnet on my Mk1. Of course I open/close my bonnet more frequently than the typical user too. £45 is the cheapest Ive seen round these parts.

Poor shocks on 172/182 are a common problem. It isnt down to wear and tear ... its down to poor shocks and Renault know that! You need to argue this further with them ...

Reckon theres somebody with over 50k. Ive done 2k in the 2 months since Ive got mine ... on the high side for me so hopefully will slow down to nearer 8k per annum. Since then its got 2 rattles ... a minor kerbing ... and a b*****d chip on the front where a stone hit it on the bottom edge...
