LOL ... well it pays to travel north of Newbury every once in a while ... just so you realise the advantages Ive got back home and why its best to stay there ;)

Actually had a great weekend ... and it wasnt that different. After Baggeridge we all went out for a lunch in Kidderminster. My boys were so happy ... then didnt expect there to be Pizza Hut up north :p

Yep ... and there was an M&S for when youre cooking at home too ... but didnt see a Starbucks

Our friends were joking about how there son was growing up a southerner. For some reason he speaks properly and says "baarrth" rather than "bath" and "grraass" rather than "gras". They suspect his grandmother (who Black Country born and bred) is trying to make him grow up posher.

Of course I knew what you mean since (a) Im an handsome devil for a 90 year old and (b) its a freaking funny letter and "accessories". Done as a joke by my best mate because he thought I should buy something other than the Vee (*cough* Smart Roadster like him  *cough*). He now agrees fully with my purchase having experienced the Vee :D

hehe - the proof - theres no such word as barth or grraass so us Black Country folk must have been right all along - QED!

Bostin, on the other hand, should be made an essential part of the Queens English :D

LOL knew youd say that ;) I was going to put a postscript about the fact that my pseudo-phonetic spellings werent supposed to imply that bath isnt pronouced anything other than bath ... which of course could also be spelt barth too.

I do use bostin regularly having researched its etymology a while back. Principally I use it to sound like Im down with the workers rather than my real background as the 13th Viscount of Biscuit :p
