Was thinking exactly the same the other week ... hows it hanging Matt?
Ive been using mine plenty on the V6. Driven loads of cars long distances on cruise control in US/Canada, but altogether more scary at first with the power of the V6. Definitely that "running away" feeling. Also flicked the switch the wrong way once and couldnt work out why the car was slowing...
Even at a week old Im beginning to discover the small imperfections and scratches. At some time somebody ... not me as far as I know ... has scratched the (massively wide) door sill a bit along the edge. A few other small scratches around and about. The stresses of new car ownership ... never...
After only a few days was looking like a rally sl*g ... rain brought all the dust down and it just sat on the numerous horizontal services on the Vee.
Gave it a quick wash last night. Didnt get to wax it. Those wheels take forever ...

Cool ... youre not hanging about ... very impressed.
Where did you get the Silvervisions from and exactly which ones are they? Looking very good so maybe I should do the Vee!
LOL ... how VERY VERY VERY weird!! Isnt me ... tho I do of course have the look of a weather forecaster about me ... blonde, good figure, pert bosom ... crap jumpers and a beard.
Reality is that Ive taken to reading the 5-day forecast every day to see if anything is going to slow down my...
Oh well ... at least I get to try out the automatic windscreen wipers :( Weather forecast said rain around 3:00, and at 3:05 it came. Time to slow down a bit too, since its been lovely and dry since I got it and Ive been testing the limits a bit.
Yep agree with it getting filthy. Hasnt rained yet ... but the tail end is already picking up crap ... residual salt off the roads :( Wheels are suffering from the tyre black the dealers valet put on. Its my daily drive tho ... and missus has never been particularly tolerant of me spending hours...
So it was below the R and moving no where when I got back from MBs. Drove it to gym this morning. Drove it 10 miles to the Shell garage. Only took 51 litres to fill it (tho I didnt squeeze petrol in to the very top). Hmmmm ....
Howdy :)
Had 3 x VWs when I was a poor student.
Had 3 x Citroens culminating in a Xsara VTS.
Got my 2nd Clio on Monday ... so suppose that means Ive one more to go before I get bored of Renault. However, cant ever imagine getting bored of my new Clio at the moment:D
The last bit really does drop like a stone  Reckon I used the last sixth of the tank driving the 15 miles from Metallic Blacks ... was flatlined by the time I got home. However, no light on yet and computer is still saying 70 miles. Its about 10 miles until I can get to the Shell...
Right ... I didnt buy the V6 to be miserly about petrol so Optimax it is.
Currently running on Sainsburys SUL since, despite the computer saying I had 60 miles to go, the fuel gauge was reading empty when I got it home yesterday.
Which leads to the next question ... what are the...
Surely youve all watched Scrappy Races et al. 2 engines is the way to go , so first mod on my Vee will be having an engine with an auto box put in the front instead of that silly boot liner ;)

Is that a nice big garage you are building for your GORGEOUS new car?
Yep ... was supposed to be finished before the car came ... but cest la vie. Originally had two single doors but would have been rather tight getting the V6 in. Have brought...
Will be sending mine off tomorrow ... £195 lifetime is good deal when you consider its £120 a year on subscription. Ill be keeping the V6 for more than 3 years ... or else the missus will be having my b*llocks for earrings ;). That and the fact that the car is f**king wonderful :D.

The "guest" parking bays in our Close are too tight to get the V6 in easily given its "renowned" turning circle ;).
I can second that. You could have nearly sold the 172 to Fubar by the...
