Best way for us to try and make a conclusion, is for users to post details of their tyres - DOT codes, country made etc. Then if they're all similar (obviously the DOT codes will vary slightly) then we should be able to say whether there's any truth in the rumours. I'm off to check mine now...

I wouldn't say hassle free but yes far less than most. Even being strict on the budget, it's still gone over as they do. Just want it ready now.

Cheers guys, taking it at Oulton probably wasn't the best choice. Trying to stay off the kerbs on the chicanes was a test in itself. However the examiner did give me two pointers that will help come raceday.

Updated dates for the Tricolore Trophy: Rockingham April 5 Castle Combe May 5 Donington June 8 Snetterton 300 July 12 Silverstone August 9 Cadwell Park September 20 Oulton Park October 4 Autumn Trophy x3 races: Snetterton November 1st Televised event.

Donington is now the 8th of June.
