Thanks mate, charger sounds much better on the out side of the car, going to try and rig up the go pro on the front of the car so I can hear what it sounds like:)
Thanks mate, that's the plan now, just want to enjoy it for a while without tinkering, well I will try.
Errr.... No lol
Thanks...
Thanks jesus, they stop the car pretty well too.
Thanks mate, deffo got a touch in getting the new engine, have you picked up your Trophy yet.
Thanks Rhys, will be great when you get the phase 1 finished, it's looking epic.
Lol, shame you had to sell the car, getting a house is a good...
Thanks Danny:)
Thanks Reko, it is quite a nice place to be for a Clio, my last car was a few bit dearer than the Clio so when I sold it all the money was put into the Clio, plus a little more lol
Thanks Krys, kit is quite expensive, but well worth it
Thanks Vicky, what plans lol, do you...
Hope this all goes well for you mate, I have had a few problems along the way with mine as well, it will be worth it in the end. Will the car be at css, be good to have a look at it.
Thanks Craig, means a lot coming from you, we will have to park the cars up together at CSS, yellow and black will look really cool next to each other.
Not really going to be a project as the car is now mostly finished. I have owned the Clio for 2 1/2 years and have been modifying the car from pretty much day one. I only really bought the Clio as a little bit of fun until I found something else, but within a week I totally fell in love with...
Not a fan of either badge, but can't knock the ring sticker esp if you have been round, might look better if it was red or black maybe. All you need as far as badges go is just the Clio one on the right, nice and clean then.
Sounds like you are getting very good mpg considering, I would be happy with that, 8 mpg is low but not to bad as when the car was just cammed I was getting 14 mpg on track, I average around 26 mpg day to day. Will have to have a good think about forging, like you say its all the little bits...
How is the fuel consumption, done a couple of track days in mine now and was getting 8 mpg lol. Seriously considering going forged, do you think its worth it, would you do it again. I find the low boost set up is so useable and still very capable.
Willwoods fit under most 15's, the brembos with 300 mm disc need 16's, you can get get 295 mm Ap discs for the Willwoods but they are expensive, plus you can get DS2500 for the the Willwoods for about £65, so a lot cheaper than for the standard set up.
