Well thats the thing, i always keep the resevoir topped up to the brim anyaway. The guy i bought the car from 6 weeks ago mentioned that the washer leaked, but i have never noticed it leaking until i mentioned it to the garage and now its come back with a constant trickle running down the front...
Mine does the same, 1st time it fires up then dies almost instantly. Then when i try again literally seconds later it starts straight away! Odd.
Back on the 'i took it to renault and it came back broke' topic ...... mine had its 24k service yesterday and as well as not fixing a number of the...
Well i have just booked mine in for 24k service £225.22 inc air con re-gas, which i think is quite reasonable (having said that my previous car was a lexus ls400...£180 for new bonnet lifters!)
I noticed that at almost exactly 85mph i get a really loud squeal coming from the passenger side. I thought it was coming from the wing mirror though??!
When i bought mine, i did a bank transfer. Easy to do, and cleared funds in their accounts.
My bank told me that bankers drafts are NOT guaranteed funds, which i always thought there were.
Transfer has to be the safest as its in your account, cash might be counterfeit (although thats prob...
Wanted an e36 m3, but couldnt justify the £2k insurance..... read the knowledge section in evo, saw they'd given the 182 5 stars and went out and bought one!
Been filling up with Sainsbury's SUL (im also a nectar points wh*re!:approve: ) and occasionally 95ron when i cant get SUL and honestly havent really noticed any difference in MPG or a smoother/rougher idle and running.
Cheers mate, will give them a go, was meaning to check them on the wkend anyway!
Incidently (and totally off topic) last night for the first time i revved the 182 past 5k revs.... theres one hell of a kick isnt there!!!! Was grinning from ear to ear for the rest of the night! Lol.
When we stripped my mates EG civic Esi, the back end started to snap out during cornering. He even managed to spin it a couple of times! :S
Was so noisy with stripped out back (especially when it rained!) so i dont think i'll be stripping the 182 anytime soon.
Regards the tyre pressures...
Agree with A13EX, why not just add a few 1*2 bits...
IMO they rank in the following order (least sh*t one first - relatively speaking that is):
3 - Purple/Gold flip paint one, rear wheels actually somewhere near rear arch.....
2 - Blue one, w*nk, but not as w*ank as......
1 - That...
If they are plastic badges with the 'sticky foam' on the back then i would personally use a hot air gun which will heat up the foam and they will peel off easily without need for knife etc.
Thats how i got badges/bumpstrips off my old vaux.:approve:
I like the ones that light the footwell..not such a big fan of the ones in the door handles tho.
And the only cars i have ever liked neons on are the 3 black civic coupes in the original fast and the furious (the bit where they are chasing after the truck):quiet:
Bumpage...
I've seen loads of ones with german surrounds, found these blank ones if its of interest....

This happened to my gf recently.... whats worse was it was someone at her work who denied all knowledge until she was shown cctv footage!! :quiet:
.....So thats who stole my badge last summer! :clown:
Of all the stickers on there, my favourate is the "Limited edition"......
.....You damn f**king right its limited edition. Although to be fair, bet the ladies love it! Lol.
Now i've only had my 182 for a few weeks, but mine has done this a few times already.
It starts for about 2 seconds then seems to run out of revs and stalls. Then when you start it again, it works and stays on. Very strange indead!
Are you mates with Tarun?
I followed the build of his merc on www.lowriderforum.com and then his www.eurolow.com......
so hes selling up now is he Matt?
Hi guys,
My 182 is now due for its 24000/ 2yr service and i'm looking for peeps recommendations on where i should take it in or around Cardiff.
I only work around the corner from Renualt Cardiff but after my gf's experiences with them and her clio, i was wondering if there were any independent...
Now, i have just bought a racing blue clio sans stripes and am unsure whether or not to add stripes..... btw, i like the way you have extended the stripes over the bumper kully.
Im warming to the idea of adding stripes as it turns out someone literally 500 yards down the road from me...
Yer, thats the little blighter. But its the one just above the instrument binacle that was really annoying me this morning..... Nas 'Hip hop is dead' on max volume soon cured it tho! :approve:
