Soon to be Clio 172 Cup owner

Welcome to the world of Cup ownership. I've had a 172 and now my Cup. Prefer the rawness of my Cup, feels a bit more involved. As has already been said shop around and get a couple test drives to get an idea of what they should feel and sound like. The engines are naturally whiny which you'll...

    172 vs 200

    172. Cheaper, more fun to the £ spent, mods are easier and usually more affordable. Embarrass a lot of more expensive cars. Always puts a smile on your face and pretty decent mpg.

    Newb from cornwall

N welcome. Not sure about the speedo but someone will on the forum. The clutches do bite high on the 172's so it sounds normal to me. They have quite a narrow window of engagement.
