is it a phase 2. If so then they just have to be ripped off. There are pressed onto a knurled surface. You usually destroy them getting off. I had to use some mole grips to brutally remove it...
its as good as I can get it with the time available. Longer term I want to change the coolant hoses for some forge blue ones and replace the coolant bottle while its being done. Just down to time and money at the moment..
take it all off to paint, sooo much easier. Couple of connectors to take off. One on the coils pack, one each side of the upper inlet. One on the throttle body. Engine cover off if you have one. 4x10mm bolts to remove coil pack from the upper inlet. 4x10mmm bolts to remove upper inlet, might be...
definitely think a south west meet is overdue. I see loads of RS clios around Bristol, there must be a fair few on here. Portishead is good place. Close to m5 and easy to get to. Just need to organise a time and date before the crap weather comes in.
Not done much over the summer. Did some engine bay work. Passed the MOT. Fitted some 172 door cards. Resprayed the blue interior detailing gloss black including speaker covers. Converted the speedo LED's to white from the crappy orange. Fitted a new rear plate cover and LED bulb. Tried some faux...
cheers. Wheel was £80 and knob was £25. Boss came with the car so saved £50. I do have a cheap mountney corsa d shape wheel for sale I interested! £20. Bought as a toe in the water before getting the omp. Its a bit flexy but miles better than a standard melty wheel.
painted mine. Front diamond must pops off with gentle prising. There rear one requires the boot handle to come off to do it properly but its only 3 x10 mm nuts to undo and unhook the boot release.
Blimey that sounds dog rough. Belts and de phaser time I think. There's better examples out there ready to drive away I'm sure. £800 is cheap but add another couple of hundred and you'll find one in much better nick I reckon.
Converted my dash LEDs from the crap orange to nice shiny White ones. Replaced rear number plate bulb for an led and new cover to replace the yellowed original.
sounds like a problem I had. The easiest way to check is to remove one ht lead at a time with the engine running. You'll see the spark bridge the gap. If their is a spark missing then its the coil pack.
Got it ready for its MOT retest. Rear number plate bulb replaced. Refit the legal front number plate. Sort the airbag resistors out after fitting my OMP wheel. Service front right caliper, sticky piston. Needs a new o/side CV gaitor but can't be arsed to do it myself (at the moment anyway).
I use my cup as a daily. 14 miles each way 3 or 4 times a week. Makes driving to work fun, especially at 5am when the roads are nice and quiet. As with any car irrelevant of brand you get good ones and bad ones. At least a Clio is fairly cheap to fix compared to most brands. Should be able...
