Yeah it goes on like water. I used humbrol enamel paint. Just to warn you. You can enamel over cellulose car paints but not usually the other way round. The enamel sometimes reacts and bubbles when sprayed over. If you ever spray over it you'd probably have to sand it back first.
I used a fine modelling brush. Took my time. 6 light coats to build it up. Light heat gun between coats to speed up the drying time. If I over painted I just wiped it off straight away. When it was fully dried I just sprayed some of the manifold colour in a small pot for any touch ups around the...
Found it on here. It was a naff carbon effect so just painted it mondial blue, then masked the lettering before satin blacking it with a rattle can. Had a spare Cliosport decal to finish it off.

Love the 172/182's but would never part with £4k for one. Bit of dealer tax added on for that price... That's almost mint Trophy money. Happy shopping though.
Flamer on avonmouth Coast rd @ 14:00 ish. Silver 182 with black stripes on bishops worth rd about 17:00 ish. Grey/Anthracite 172 in sainsburys car park, custom paint job??
Nice buy. I had the pops and bangs on my first 172. Fun for about three weeks then drives you insane. But your choice, have fun whatever you choose, love titanium's:wink:
