Any high melting point grease will do.
Renault have a very high labour charge, It'll take two hours MAX to change driveshaft so they seem to be charging it to you at around £140 an hour which is ridiculous!
As for the cat, any exhaust place will be able to do it fitted for around £250 I...
Na you can do just the one. Around £40 usually but you will need a press to press them out and in.
If your rear brakes need doing to you can buy some with new bearings in. Or GSF? or a local motor factors. Prices won't be too different.
Hmmm... My timing belt can't of gone as I'm still getting compression, can hear exhaust popping. Mines on a Ph1 172 though.
Timing belt was done less than a year ago to at Angelworks :s
Got this same problem mate, code reader won't read eother but ECU has been tested and its fine :s Gotta try change TDC sensor to see if thats the problem. Apart from that I'm stumped!
Buy you driveshaft direct from Reno. It's more money but I got a pattern part which wasn't the same and was even worse. Overal length was 10mm different! Reno for Passenger is £200
Looking to do this too so I can learn and gain a qualification out of it. Seen this Open U one and it is the only part time one I can find. All National Diplomas are Full time :(
All these are straight of the Camera except being resized.
Were taken at 1/125, F5.6 and ISO 400 as was so dark. Should have lowered the FStop too :(
All C+C welcome please. Not the best I know, but I'm still learning :p
Just seen how s**t these...
Dash out takes like 15 mins! 5 screws on the top then two bold on the clocks, then just pull forward and crack the bracket :D
You could also take all the other parts of and undo the bottom bolts but f**k it! who'll know :) lol!
Any ideas?
Checked the inertia fuel cut off switch, no spark on plugs when turning over.
Guessing it could be the TDC/Crankshaft sensor as had this problem before when running standalone on another F4R engine.
ANy other ideas? Trying to get hold of someone with RSTuner to hook up to...
Done it today, up at 9, fitted all within 2 hours start to cleaning up.
WRONG PART! Rattled like a c**t on right hand bends.
The bit that fits up against the hub was too deep so the shaft wouldn't fit properly in the box.
We had it off again to double check etc and we found that...
Hi
It will of always done it, its a safety feature incase when say walking away from your car you accidently press the button, it will then lock it self as no doors have been opened and it thinks it was an accident.
I wouldn't worry about it, just unlock it open the door and close it again...
Just the one of a load of clios and a few of mine, have some rolling shots of other peoples, but they may not want there car on another site/material! PM if you don't mind and you know I have pics of any of the cars in this picture ;)
