RSTuner used as code reader on any car?

Once the RSTuner is used on a car it locks to it.

Is it possible after this to read/clear faults on other clios without unlocking it?

Yes you can, you can also delete the fault codes even if it is locked to another clio

its only the map that gets coded to the car.

Yeh u can.

Only needs to be unlocked for reading/rewriting ecu.

Did you get an answer? I'm having same problem. Progged by 182, but unable to connect to a 1.2 to read faults. Says unrecognised VIN. So looks like it's locked, even to just read the ECU.

Which means a 1.2 isn't supported. Nothing to do with lock/unlock.
