I think they just shout for the chopper. The cops that drive the scoobys etc have to do the full driving course. It sounds so much fun.
Its amazing how good people who have done so much advanced driving training can be.
Criminals get away by being wreckless. The Cops can realy drive...
I'd love one. Quicker that a Focus RS, cheaper and depreciate like crazy. With this in mind i'd love one in 3 years time. Autocar predict they'll be worth £7532 in 3 years/36K if thats true then they'll be about £8500 private. At that price i'd be rediculously tempted. Straight to RS Tuning for...
Looks superb Roy. Lovely interior, proper RS looks and plenty of go. They have so much road presence. Shame about the cruise, i'd be pretty upset about that tbh.
Sorry to say it mate but thats a write off I think. Its probably for the best anyway, It would take some repairing to get that to drive 100% right after that impact.
Hope it all works out for you with a new car etc.
If the rev limiter is aboove 7200 in 1st, 2nd & 3rd or over 7000 in 4th and 5th then its been remaped.
I know you shouldn't do it but check for a cold limiter too, should be 6700 for <75 degrees centigade coolant temperatures.
People saying whether its a write off or not is just their opinion though, it doesn't effect whether it will be written off or not.
Unlucky about the crash though. I think you'll struggle to lay any blame on the van driver now though, with no concrete evidence.
Try adrian flux and ask to speak to the red department. They specilise in modified cars and my insurance was actully cheaper than if the car was standard.
I love your opinions on cars Chris, so brutally honest :approve:
I agree with Chris, It does fast in a straight line well but not much else. Bland interior thats pretty much the same from envoy to GSI spec bar the seats, build quality can be just as ropey as Renaults, not great mpg when mapped...
I think your going to struggle to keep with the Evo Chris. If you spent a fortune on the Clio, maybe, but its a lot of money to throw into a cheap car.
I think its best that you enjoy it for what it is or move on to something like an Evo.
What happened to your 120/123d idea?
I realy want one. Especially after reading Autocar's review where it owns the Focus RS. The Renaultsport monitor thing looks cool too.
They've gone up a price band though, not sure how well they'll sell. Who has 22K to throw at a car that will depreciate like mad in the current economic...
