Both our stealth and recessed systems are 2.5" bore and constructed using mandrel bent tubing (no loss of diameter through the bends). This is widely regarded as the best bore size for the F4R engine. I hope this helps. David.

We had a car in a couple of weeks ago that seems to have the same problem with the tailpipes being sat behind the bumper. Fred, is there any adjustment in the system as most have a sleeve joint at the front and if it has been pushed in too far this could could cause the tailpipes to sit too far...

I have not seen any of these vids going around but I have not heard a raspy Stealth and I have heard more stealth systems fitted than just about anyone. If you remove one of the silencers from the system (cat or mid pipe) and replace it with a straigth through section you will get a raspy note...
