LOL is all i'll put with that! Won't go into it further than that...
Think personally that 428's are a thing of the past, seeing as the 438 caters for the peak figures as well as smoothing things out at low rpm why would you want the 428's?
Lol, there's no point asking him as he's K-Tec's senior salesman!
Best to wait for a few more results to come out from the GT cams that BTM are dealing with before making the purchase.
Cool,
Indeed I think for a trackcar the 421's are probably best for peak gains with the rough idle. Really want to see a comparison between Freds new cams and these 438's, but trying to get two cars that have the mods to compare maybe difficult.
Re: Any one want to freeze there a**e off watching some rally cars at Goodwood ?
Might have to bail on this now as i've been offered a cheap Brands Hatch Trackday to try out my new car i'm getting on Friday! ;)
Mark needs to say what he ideally wants for it, I know like many others that i'm interested in it regardless of the clocks etc. The car would fit in nicely with the Failsport Fleet, and I have wanted another Cup since ive sold mine!
Cheers dude, there's a few people that havent been a fan but they're converting slowly but surely! :)
You should look up where i've been, you know what my 'EIN' is ;) I've been working down in Cornwall helping with the push to get BT Infinity to s**t loads of homes down there!
So a little bit of an update now i'm back home from working away.
With working away I knew I'd be missing the annual Surrey rolling road day and really wanted to take the M3 to it, thankfully Ollie82 on here said he would as his Cups 'hibernating' atm. Eagerly waiting on the day for him to text...
Think you may be pushed with another set of 50mm spacers Chip, this setup had the slam panel removed and slimline fan fitted to 172 Cup slim rad. Made over 3bhp more and 7lb/ft more torque than the standard length RS2 and that was still on the same map for the normal RS2, so always potential for...
Here's the setup I used to run, very close to the Cup racer setup and similar to a B16/B18 style Honda induction kit.
Made fantastic torque and power, here's some comparisons between the setup above and the V6 Airbox with 90 degree bend I ran previous to it.
Before Setup
After setup...
Lol, I had a standard Astra without a dodgy fibreglass body kit, then a stripped out engine converted Mk1 Clio. It was more commonplace having a body kit back then, still wasn't 'in' though ;) Always been power and handling over looking like a pleb! ;)
At least you've seen the error in your...
Ahhh I remember that 306, horrific piece of s**t that was! At least the Cup looks good, apart from the silly engine dressing parts and the Renault F1 decals.
Cracking result J! Wonder what Paul can bring out of the car once properly mapped!
Very happy with mine indeed! 322bhp / 274lb/ft of torque with just a decat-back exhaust! Great when most M3 Evo's never make book figures, normally around 300bhp.
Not related to much to these rollers but I'll post a few graphs this evening regarding torque figures and different induction setups. I had a setup that made 181bhp and 169lb/ft of torque so if the chap had a shite Halfords filter on the car, changed it for a better setup no wonder he's made a...
I won't be there im afraid now, still working in Cornwall for a couple more weeks.
If anyone from Failsport wants to take the Em Fwee down for me then give me a shout! ;)
I recently put 4 prestivos on my Audi
Mark, in comparison to the P6000's it had they are much better. Up to the standard of a Michelin? Doubt it...
Not thought about buying a part worn michelin tyre off eBay? Got 4 for the M3 for £160 all in with 2mm above the markers, rrp's over £500!
The RS-2 was never designed to rival ITB's which is what so many people fail to realise, indeed it was a compromised option which was primarily designed to be user friendly with regards to being just bolted on and off the car without any other 'modifications' to the car like cutting wiring looms...
