Oh yeah he understands that the RB/JZ would be more reliable, just says he wants to do something mad and not as common. You right about the SR in standardish noise form, his sounds alright with the bigger turbo and 'shotgun' exhaust btu should sound sweet once built!
My mates not much of a forum/facebook etc person though I think one of our mates or Andy at ProjectD (bloke building the car up) will be documenting it, it is indeed a serious build! He was going to RB26 it but then realised everyone does it and it puts a shed load of weight on the front of the...
Unsure Gaz as I dont know 100% everything thats going on with the car, know he purchased it off some chap off driftworks and person that built the head is very reputable. Think the head cost roughly a £1000 second hand.
A few pics of my mates S14.
Yes its got rotards on it, they are being changed with quite a few more things. Anyways here's a few facts on it...
50mm wider each side on the rear quarters(GRP),
30mm wider each side on the front arches(GRP),

Www.WilliamsClio.co.uk in my experience would be the forum to look at.
Rust and gearboxes are the main problems I know of, I'm sure they'll be others that people will bring up.
Wouldn't bother going with any Williams other than a Williams 1, the original with the number plaque etc's going to...
Average...
Lights look s**t, bonnets s**t and doesn't fit properly, stupid sized pointless spoiler, reverse rake as well... Need I go on, I'll have to dig out my friends S14 for good looking silvia!
Ah right no not yet Waitey ;), got to go to BM in the week or whenever to order up all new BMW badges for the body and wheels as well as the ones that sit in the exterior trim as they come separate!
Gally - Cheers, thats one thing I think I do need to do as there is a few swirls on the car. Have heard of that Amigo on here so may well go with some of that, cheers again! :)
Alan - Thanks Alan, snowfoam in my opinion is pretty good! I cleaned the girlfriends black Golf TDI yesterday which...
I probably wont contact the original dealer for some number plates however ill get them from my local dealer that sorted me out with great discounts so far for the bits i've purchased.
What was up with the car then?
Indeed Hd is pretty good, won it at CSS last year and didnt realise then how good it actually was! Lasts ages and beads like mad!
Whats the benefit of a filler glaze? Also when do you apply it in the stages as i've never really heard of it! :o
Lol thanks! It is a bit of weird colour as it...
Waitey - There's a few small bits of rust appearing on the car and little chips and dings on various places of the car, by all means its no shed but when you think about fixing them bits you end up just thinking of painting the whole car. lol
So gave the M3 a 'quick' clean yesterday, heres the list of cleaning bits used.
Snowfoamed - ValetPro pH Neutraul
Shampoo - Britemax CleanMax
Wax - AG HD Wax
Plastics and Tyres - Megs Gold Class Endurance Tire Gel
Windows - Megs Nxt Generation Glass Cleaner, then RainX'd the windows
A few...
So yesterday I thought I'd try out my new Karcher pressure washer with snowfoam lance and give the BM another coat of wax. Snowfoaming makes giving the car a clean a bit more enjoyable as at times for me I can loose interest whilst cleaning.
So today with a just a simple clean as said, products...
Lol at these people having a go about cheap tyres, I think with the way he wants to go with the car it won't be likely that he'll be hammering down country lanes or doing trackdays! Plenty of people use cheaper brand tyres on the road and do just fine what makes this guy different? Think people...
Horrific interior and i'm not just talking about the gearstick... Like the exterior of the car, just goes to show these days how easy it is to make a popular scene car for cheap!
