The centre caps were the old style from the early 90's before I had them modified, with pins holding the outer cover in place. I don't think I prefer them over the standard 172 wheels (that I've still got) but I don't think they look bad.
The handling is improved without changing the ride, you can't go wrong really.
Well they were a lot cheaper than Turini's Englebert. You get what you pay for, but I think they look good.
What megane is that off Scott, looks really good.
Its lowered on Eibach Sportlines. The pic in post number 8 shows them on the day they were fitted, that was about a month ago and I think you can see they have settled abit lower.
Cheers.
I would like a splitter, just seem expensive. Have considered trying a 307 splitter with a bit of black silicone on the joint.
No didn't cost anything to have the centre caps modified and the turini centres worked out at £15 for 4.
Thats before the centres were modified. The only reason I did change them was the outer covers held on by a pin were stolen. But i do think they look better now.
After that quote I wouldn't have gone back to Renault. Could surely get that work done for half the 1100 quoted at an independant garage, maybe less if you sourced afew parts yourself.
£140 to change the spark plugs? Did you ask them to break that down into parts and labour? My NGK plugs cost...

It has happened yesturday and today whilst driving, both the stop light and battery light came on and I seemed to lose power steering. The first...
This morning at about 7.50, a black 172, green front diamond and white decals to the lower part of the rear wing. Going past the Morrisons in Bramley (Leeds).
Sure I've seen pics of it on here.....
Yeh thats what I did in the end, think he was after 250, offered 170 but no reply.
You can get them new online for 280. Why is it that they arn't as in demand as the makes you mentioned, is it a brand issue/quality.....?
Don't run it over.
If there's a fault with the phone it should be covered under 12 months warranty. As long as you havn't damaged it yourself they should sort it out for you.
Cheers for the comments.
I got mine off pistonheads, the guy had them on his car for about a month before writing it off. £60 delivered, couldn't really say no.
The cheapest place I found them was here...
