the key on that level is building extra Harvesters, atleast one more if not 2 or 3 more. That way you have more cash to build tanks and troops. The best thing to do with regards to the MCV is just leave it until you've got plenty of units (you can leave MCV as long as you like), train lots of...
Re: TheSloth - my first self build.
i don't know what others are like, but I don't bother with wrist straps, I just make sure I touch the inside of the case etc before picking up components and installing them, for my recent build I cleared my computer desk and gave myself a large area to work...
Re: TheSloth - my first self build.
the only other one I can think of at the moment is when screwing the board to the risers on the case, make sure you don't position unused risers under the board as these will short the board and cause problems, i.e count the number of risers you put in and...
Re: TheSloth - my first self build.
good luck mate. Just take your time, don't be tempted to rush ahead and switch it on, make sure all of the right power connections are made for the motherboard, graphics card and all of the various fans. Ensure the fan for the CPU is seated correctly as well.
my 172 was pretty bad but I just lived with it after having the windows re-fitted 3 times by Renault, no improvement made. Thankfully the Megane is fine.
i think they are trying too hard to make the storyline on this one and there doesn't seem to be very much in the line of actual gameplay. I seem to be lacking full exposure of being able to make big bases and progress as the levels seem to be over before you know it. I've also never been a fan...
the ion cannon is a bit special in this one. I've been running it on maxxxed out settings and have been expecting it to maybe start lagging with lots of units fighting onscreen, but it just takes it all in its stride (pretty nice).
I don't understand how it is secured, i.e for arguements sake, lets say someone knows my WAN IP, I don't have a username/password on my Vista account, if I use VNC viewer on the machine, what stops others accessing the machine? VNC Session password?
isn't VNC a bit poop though, RDC better? How is it secure, if I'm on a static IP at work I can lock down remote access to my home PC from that IP address on the router, yes?
I did the same with my work HP, it needed the keyboard replacing but everything else was fine. I've had a couple of work IBM's had the same done to them and they are stuffed, quite a lot of the Toshiba's we have in the office are prone to overheating and aren't very good.
I've been playing it over the weekend on and off (inbetween working on the garden) I've got to the level in Croatia where you enter NOD teritory and have to hold on to the base until the MCV arrives, I just keep getting my @rse handed to me on a plate on either Normal or Easy, its rock!!
Anyone?
