Haha I agree entirely lol. Do you think the big one is okay judging by the pictures then? If it's just the small one then if they fix it im a happy bunny haha

Haha. Nah they're great but they're all like 50 and 60. They don't understand modern things lol. They're great at usual things but they aren't used to my strange requests lol.

Haha ;) so if I take it and say fit it as I said with the thick bit to the top of the car with a washer then all will be well and good haha. I'll tell em tomorrow. How long will it take bare in mind they've done the big one already?

Would this be how it would go into the Mount itself? washers in the correct place etc? Is that right using the washers and the bigger bolt metal bit? Am I right in thinking the big one is on correctly but I should just ask him to do the smaller one as I've shown on the picture?

I think the big one is in fine just the other is a standard renault one. Would it be okay to drive then without the uprated smaller one in?

Took car to well trusted garage. They could only get the big powerflex purple bush in apparently the other one was way too big. Comes with 2 washers that also haven't been used. The car does now vibrate quite a bit more and the gear changes are definitely more positive. The revs seem to not...

Ah should it? they're like trails it looks f**king horrendous. I'll try triple first then lol, would cutting down deeper with a more aggressive polish be better do you think?

My mate has just bought a black corsa and there's some horrendous buffer trails in it. I presume this is from incorrect use of a rotary polisher. I have a DAS 6 pro and the autofinesse revitalise kit with the 3 step and pad system. I also have triple and Lime Prime and black hole. Is there...

Haha I think you're probably right mate. The image I posted is s**t but it's just showing the reflections etc. AF Tough Coat is an epic product I much prefer it to EGP as a sealant. That picture is the sealant that's maybe a month old with a top up protection of Nattys Blue (black car).

Lol [emoji30] You've asked for names and I still stand by him in this instance. A new car detail really isn't as hard as fully detrimming and debadging a car and correcting swirls on a two stage polish. Taking the wheels off the car really is simple but unecessary I should say to be honest.

Haha basically a wax would normally be used in summer. They give a better shine and colour supposedly than a sealant such as your EGP but don't last as long. I've put waxes over sealants before and they don't really add much to be fair. Best bet is wash it, clay it and De iron at least, De tar...

I know what you're saying but look through some of Scotts detailing threads. Just because he isn't a garage with a company name doesn't mean he isn't as good as these guys. Anyone can wash a car it's getting the fuxking scratches out and protecting it that's the hard bit ;)

Yeah course it will mate. The polish will fill and minor scratches and marks and give a nice shine to the paint! The EGP will be great over that too! I do feel that there are slightly better products available to do the job in hand but really, without going mental, these will do the job just...
