Don't get me wrong I don't go launching and 0-60 ing my car at all but why is the gearbox not okay to use? just boot it through first into second and you'll be at 60 it's only one gear change?
I can vouch for this advice it's excellent. I tried lime prime even something that simple, constant speed and an adapted zenith technique and noticeably more removal of defects and less micromarring etc.
Hahaha. It's funny, I've seen some of these dear examples and they are s**t. I once went with my mate to a 'sports car garage' specialising in all special stuff. I asked him to open the bonnet and the engine was so black it was a joke and no engine coolant whatsoever! The car was missing three...
I do agree. I got lucky I guess but mine is a minter being honest. Did cost me though. I think you're best paying as much as possible because dear cars are dear for a reason (usually)
Yeah no worries pal. I travelled a good 2 hours for mine mate. Was the first one I viewed but it was a forum car and been hugely looked after. If you do your homework the first one should be the only one really if all seems in order and you like it!
If you don't know the car's ask a forum...
The problem is that if the dephaser wasn't changed it would tell me that it'd been run on a shoe string and not been properly looked after. I doubt anyone would do the belts without the dephaser really as it's another 150 quid and if it goes then you've just wasted your belt money haven't you...
You want a reputable garage to have done the full cambelt and aux belt kit so this includes tensioners etc and pulleys.
I'd be reluctant to touch if hadn't had dephaser done too to be fair.
Look for a lot of receipts and good service history.
Got a 182 FF.
Going to be putting some 20mm spacers on tomorrow, the car runs cooksports.
The spacers are Hubcentric H&R Trak 20mm. Just wondering what torque to fit the spacer onto the car and what torque to fit the wheel to the spacer?
Am I also right in thinking the clio has wheel studs...
If you boot a clio through first and second it will torque steer a lot and will take some correctional input, even in a straight line. This is the weight of the car really and the power it has. A Megane doesn't really do it the same just because it's heavier really.
Yeah mate. On my drive the oil shows right to the bottom of the stick and the coolant is way down. I check it when I'm in a car park or something and it's obviously spot on so I've just learn to check it when I'm out and about lol.
Yeah I'm going to be honest my 182 is the same, it's f**king dreadful, too far back for the gearstick or too close for the pedals it's a ball ache but f**k the ride is so good you tend to not care lol
