Re: James/BigAsh 182 Race Car by TDF... It doesn't get much better than this! *Pic He
James, do you need a power steering pipe or just needs tightening up as I have a new ps pipe that I havent used.
I think I may put a late entry in for Aintree as Rons sent me an email reminder and 3 sisters but they are both from nights so not decided yet :sleepy:
Well thats another rain filled day  started off nice and sunny then rained most of the day after the 1st timed run so no improvement on that time but I got slowly quicker in the wet.
Beginning to think I am jinxed and wonder if its worth all the effort and money for 5 minutes of track...
I am off to Scammonden dam tomorrow , I think the last time I was there was 1997 ! so if anyone is near J23 off the M62 pop along and have a look.

Good work fella !
Just found this, the 172 cup wheel base is 1472mm and the 182 cup/Trophy is 1485mm so if you have 35mm extra that should give a bit more castor.
I cant run different top mounts in my class so was thinking about trying re drilling to gain a bit of castor on my ph1 , this plus maybe also adjusting the inner mounts may give enough - unless it rubs the arches.
I only run revalved Konis and sportlines because I still use the standard top...
Here's a video of my quickest run last time out.

My next event is at Scammonden dam hillclimb which is off J23 M62 on the 19th august.
Cheers
Just bought my trisuit Russ it's very tight lycra and I will wear it under my race overalls at Aintree as I know you like that sort of thing ;)
You know you want my itbs Johnny .....

I thought that the 182 cups have the longest wheel base and larger castor angle but all the lower arms come from the same part number ?
Danfreeman photo has no worries about you becoming our official photo taker then :rasp:
Glad things are sorted AST wise let me know when your testing and I will try to come along.
Cheers
It was a double lap so its harder to have more that 3 cars on the circuit at anyone time , but other clubs seem to manage it better.
Feeling the love a bit more for the little clio though :o
Yep a good day just let down by the lack of runs - approx 6 mins running in the car, no the best in terms of cost, looks like we may have to go round in circles next year :race:
