Hi Ed, Good to meet you too! Was not my best day had a few issues and a misfire so my worst result of this season with 4th. I only managed two out of four timed runs due to loss of spark (the car not me) but now sorted. Loved your Trophy, must rank up there amongst the best around!

This can happen with cars imported from the US as well. My son nearly bought a Corvette which had been imported to the UK from Germany. But after doing checks it had been crashed ( written off) in US, exported to Germany where it was repaired and ran for 2 years , then imported to UK.

I would concur with Jon, Putting ITB's on an otherwise relatively standard engine is a waste of money ( I speak from personal experience!) ass thet will generalte hardly any improvement. ITB's come into their own with head mods and cams, again I speak from experience as Jon's with 226BHP was...

Hi, I fitted CL RC6 pads to the Clio because they worked really well from cold which is great for hillclimbing as the brakes never get hot, (unlike a trackday) hence std pads in the rear brakes. In the Fiesta I'm now hill climbing I'm using add pads all round and they are working really well...

I'll be watching this thread of course. The Yokohama A052's are THE list 1B hillclimb tyres for the road going cars as they heat up quickly so would be interested to know how they perform on track, otherwise they will probably sell well as there are approaching £200 a corner new.

Mine made 195 bhp on Jenvey ITB's with Gen90 ecu on a well worn (130k) engine.Now making 220bhp with rebuilt engine, cams and light head work. Mapped at EFI so genuine figures. Seems some rolling roads register 10bhp+ before you even start the engine.

Have you thought of a motorbike silencer, there are quite a few titanium ones about. Only concern would be than May be too restrictive despite bikes reving to 10k they are smaller capacity.

Engine Dynamics rebuilt my engine ( with modifications) a couple of years ago and it has performed faultlessly. They are not too far from you being near Colchester.

Remove ABS, if fitted. I've fitted a single pipe exhaust that exits out of the middle of the rear panel saved loads of weight over the original 182 exhaust. There is loads of plastic behind the front panel you can remove. Fit a smaller rad and lightweight fan, though as you are in Italy...

Hi Harewood does not alloy arbs or rear coil overs and the correction kit contain the correction kit is not allowed as contains spherical bearings which are not allowed unless fitted as standard.

Hi I went for 9kg front at 8kg rear but there is no choice for rear as in class 1b you have to run original delayer damper and coil setup, rear coilovers are not legal. May have gone too hard on the fronts but I can drop to 7 kg spring with damper config I have. Trackdays bots run 10 or 11kg...

Thanks. As soon as I looked at the new struts I realised I had a problem? As you suggested I've just looked at PMS site and unfortunately they only do one mounting type, so if i want a strut brace I'll have to make up brackets. However do i really need a strut brace??
